"Under no circumstances do you reveal you're mother's name Arabella, do you understand me?"
Auntie Andy was so paranoid, she stood arms crossed, leaning back on the kitchen counter. Her beautifully delicate hair framing her face and her dress hugging her figure perfectly.
Arabella rolled her eyes and flicked her chestnut hair with attitude.
"Young lady I'm serious. It could still be dangerous no one can know."
"Just listen to her Arabella for fuck sake." The pink haired teen sitting next to her chimed in, earrings waving as she spoke.
"Nymphadora, I swear to Merlin if you don't stop swearing! And infront of Arabella!"
"Mum I'm on your side." The young witch scowled "I'm mad I won't be there to keep an eye on you Baby Bells, don't disgrace the good Tonks name I worked so hard on."
"I wish you hadn't graduated already." Arabella mumbled quietly into her mug of tea.
Ted burst into the kitchen suddenly carrying a trunk he heaved it onto the table and pecked his wife on the forehead.
"Now sweetheart, some of the Weasley boys are already there and Ron will be starting too, you won't even miss Dora while you're away. You won't have time."
"Thanks dad." Nymphadora huffed dramatically before inspecting the trunk in front of them. "What's this then?"
"This is Arabella's trunk, it's been sitting in the loft since she was a baby. This is the trunk your mother used for school sweetheart. I've enchanted her initials, they show yours now but she's put some doodles on the inside I thought you'd want to look at." He smiled brightly down at the eleven year old he loved as his own.
Arabella had been so lucky to be taken in by the Tonks family, her mother had entrusted no one else with even her existence before she died. They weren't even sure if her biological father knew she existed or indeed who he even was.
Arabella let her fingers glide over the ornate and old trunk, one of the few possessions of her mother's she had ever seen.
"Thanks Uncle Ted. When are we going to get my wand?" She asked excitedly.
"All in good time dear." Auntie Andy said softly "we will head for all your supplies at once when we see Dora off for her first training day at the Ministry.
Dora almost squealed with excitement "the Alastor Moody is in charge of my training! Last auror before he retires!" She said gleefully.
"Quite the man Alastor." Ted laughed.
"I'm going to be an auror just like you!" Arabella told her, all she'd ever wanted was to be just like Dora - funny, smart and confident.
"Do me a favour then Baby Bells, don't date any of those bloody Weasley boys! They'll only dump you to play with dragons, don't waste your time." She giggled back at her "I mean it no boys. I will find out." Flicking her expression to a fierce protective one instantly.
"Whatever Nymphadora!" Arabella teased.
"It's legal now little one. I will hex you."
"Not if you want to be an auror you won't." Auntie Andy cut in causing Dora to grumble.
