'I can't take this anymore' Rose thought. It was the last night before she went back to Hogwarts. The boys luckily obeyed her orders of not responding back to her letter or else Thomas would have done much much worse than he already had. This last week had been awful. He'd done many ungodly things to her that she wouldn't dream on her worst enemy. 'I have to tell her. She needs to know what kind of person he is' Finishing her thoughts while leaving her bedroom and walking to her moms room. M Crap he's gonna be in there. Ok I'll just tell her I need to speak to her privately. She'll understand that' finishing her thoughts she opened the door and saw her mother standing her arms crossed. Almost as if she had been waiting her arrival. "Annabella" her mother never said her first name. Not unless she was in trouble.

"Yes?" Rose asked with a tone of fear in her voice. It wasn't til now that she glanced to her left and saw the biggest smile she had ever seen on Thomas's face. This is can't get good. "Have you been telling your little friends false things about Thomas?" False? Rose shook her head. "Don't lie to me." her mother said in a firm tone. Almost yelling as she threw all the letters the boys had sent back to her on the floor in front of her. 'I didn't even realize they were missing' Rose took a deep breath. This is it. Now or never, "Nothing I told them was false. Everything they were worried about are things he has done to me mom! He hurts me and touches me in ways that I don't like! When you're not home this is what he does!" She said in tears. Her mom looked angry, at who, she was not sure. "Thomas?" She turned to ask him about it "Darling I would never. She's the one who's lying. You see-...."

It was more awful than Rose ever thought. She never thought he'd stoop that low. Touching her because he was jealous of the boys was one thing and hitting her because he didn't like that she spoke to said friends was another thing but telling her mother she wanted it? Asked for it? That was low. Even for him. Her eyes widen as he continued to speak, "so she begged me not to tell you but I told her it had to stop. I'm so sorry I didn't tell you. I just didn't want to embarrass her." Rose couldn't think straight her mind went fuzzy but her voice was as clear as day, "Mom please! He's lying I would neve-" *smack* Rose fell to the floor. 'No no no no this can't be happening she can't possibly..' her mother looked at her in disgust, "To think I thought the only thing you'd inherit from you father was his magic but no. Like him you go after things that aren't yours. That don't belong to you!" Rose was stunned. What did her father have to do with any of this? But her mother just went on, "tomorrow I will drop you off at the station and you have one year to figure out where you are gonna go. This isn't who I raised you to be and I bet it's because of those stupid boys" that caught Rose's attention, "They have nothing to do with this! They protected me when no one else would. I didn't feel safe at school as much as I don't feel safe here! I can't even call this home anymore!"

"Well lucky for you. It's not yours anymore. While you're at that wretched school for the year you can figure out where you will go. This is a place where you aren't welcomed to anymore as of the second you get on the train tomorrow!" "FINE!" She screams and storms out, slamming the door to her room shut making her owl jump and running to her bed and cries. 'How the hell did this happen?'

The next more was as quiet as could be you could hear a pen drop. Rose hadn't had a single ounce of sleep that night. 'Had last night really happened. No it had to have been a dream. A really bad dream' Roses thoughts were interrupted by her mother opening the door looking at her the same way she did last night, "we leave in 10 min." She said nothing else then closed the door. 'Yep. Definitely not a dream.'

Rose got up and dressed then double checked to make sure she had everything. She then grabbed her trunk and her owl She took one more look at her room and realized this is probably the last time she'll be in here. She wiped a single tear from her face and took a deep breath then headed out to the car where her mother and Thomas were sitting and they sped off to Hogwarts.

As soon as they arrived they gave Rose only a few minutes to gather her things and then they drove off. No goodbye's were given. Rose walked through the platform 9 3/4 and almost broke. There were children waving goodbye to their hug brothers and sisters as they boarded the train and parents hugging and giving heartfelt farewells. Rose had begun to tear up again because they all had something she didn't. 'Ok Rose. Just shake it off. It can't get any worse.'

She hadn't been paying attention and ran smack into a lady. A mother, a familiar one in fact. 'Oh great. It can get worse' "watching where you going you filthy mudblood." 'Sirius's mum. Oh how a delight she is' She looked just as evil and cruel as last time. His little brother, not really so little anymore, by her side with eyes of terror. "Actually mum. She's a half-blood." She knew that voice and she couldn't help but smile the slightest way possible. He came out from behind her. The same black hair, pale skin and smart ass attitude. Merlin had she missed him.

His mother said nothing else but grabbed Regulus and walked away. After she had gone they stayed silent for a few minutes. "Are you alright?" He asked softly and she shook her head. "Can I-" he reached out to grab her hand but she pulled away, Sirius taking a step back as well, "I'm sorry." She said softly. Everything. Everything she had worked for last year to grow more comfortable with affection. The subtle hand on the shoulder from James, the hugs from Sirius and Remus. All of it, gone. "Don't be. Do you want to talk about it?" She shook her head immediately. She couldn't even think about it without crying. "Alright well we better get going yeah?" She nodded softly as they both headed onto the train.

They went to the same compartment as they did last year hoping it wasn't already taken. Luckily it was, but by three boys. As soon as they opened the door Rose immediately got a sense of overwhelm. "Rose thank Merlin you're alright." said James as him and Remus tried to get closer to her but like with Sirius she took a step back and they stopped immediately. They glanced at Sirius to ask him what was wrong but he just shook his head. The boys nodded in understanding and sat back down. Leaving enough space for Rose to have a corner to herself. That's the best part about the boys. The know when they shouldn't ask.

Rose didn't talk one time during the ride but she wasn't poked or prodded to either. She just sat in her corner sketching out a wolf, listening to the sound of their voices and laughs. 'Well if all else fails. I still have them.'
