One Piece DND Movie: The Ballad of Barry D. Brick

Part 2

Before we begin.... Wow. 51 reads at the time of me writing this. I knew posting this on the subreddit would garner some attention but damn, that means alot. I'll try to write this as much as I can but I make no promises. I am a procrastinator but seeing so much reads this quick has giving me inspiration. Anyways, let's get back to the story.

Marine: Take them down, but don't kill them!!!!
The marines start charging at the Devil's Luck Pirates. William smirks as he spins the roulette wheel on his hand. The wheel spins until it lands on a space, and William suddenly has a flow of information on his devil fruit, the Garb Garb Fruit (Kine'mon's fruit) and his smile quickly fades.
William: *sighs* Of all the times to get a crap devil fruit, now has to be the time.
A marine rushes at William and swings down his sword but Za Wolfo catches the blade.
Marine: W-what the hell?
Duros: Everything alright captain?
Duros smacks the marine off the side of the ship.
William: Yeah, it's just that I got a crap fruit is all. Doesn't matter, take these marines down but save one of them. I have some questions to ask.
Duros nods as he runs towards the marines. William sees Ragnar swinging his axe at a bunch of marines, laughing as he takes them down.
William: VERONA, ARE THERE STILL ANY MARINES ON THEIR SHIP?!
Verona hits a marine with the end of his rifle as he looks on the ship. Verona sees that there are barely anyone left on the ship.
Verona: No captain!! Seems like they all decided to attack us head on!
William smirks.
William: Then sink their ship!!
Verona smirks underneath his mask. Verona pulls out a bullet from his pocket and loads it into his gun. Suddenly, two marines jump towards Verona.
Marine1: We won't let you attack our ship!!!
Marine2: Take this!!!
Suddenly, a hand of water grabs one of the marines and slams him into the ground while Louis jumps at the other one and slashes at the marine with his rapier. Cyril runs up to Verona.
Cyril: You alright Verona?!
Verona: I am, thank you guys.
Louis: Oh ho ho, no problem my friend. Take your, as they say it, shot!
Verona nods and aims his rifle at the marine vessel.
Verona: Special Bullet: ATOM SMASH!!!
Verona fires his rifle as the bullet soars straight into the vessel and the vessel explodes.
William: Alright!!! Good work Verona!!!
Pearl grabs two marines and throws them overboard.
Pearl: How many do we need to talk?!
William hits a marine with the butt if his cutlass and pushes the marine overboard.
William: Just one is all we need!!

(Few minutes later)

Ragnar is holding a marine upside down off the front of the ship. William walks up to the marine.
William: Why hello there, I am-
Marine: William D. Chapston, yes we know who you are.
William: Ah, forget that I have a high profile bounty. Ehem anyways, why did you attack us besides the usual "You're pirates, we're marines" crap?
Marine: I won't tell you an-
William: Ragnar.
Raganr turns into his hybrid form and the marine starts to sweat.
William: You were saying?
Marine: F-fine! We were sent here by Captain Brick. He heard you pirates were in the neighbirhood and wanted to send a message.
William: And the message?
The marine pulls out an eternal pose to a place called "Gran Tekenioi".
Marine: This is where he is.
William takes the eternal pose.
William: Why send me to where he is? And why should I go? Verona.
William tosses the eternal pose to Verona.
Marine: Because he said that you would be interested to see an old friend.
William: Old friend? The only friends I have are my crewmates.
Duros: Aaaawwwww, really captain?
William: *sighs* Yes Duros, I mean it. Well anyways, I'm not going.
Marine: W-wait!!! He told me to tell you this. "The grand heist of Marie Jois".
William's eyes widen with shock.
William: How do you know that?!
Marine: T-the captain told me!!!! I swear!!!
William turns away, a look of pure panic and worry in his eyes.
William: *mutters* It can't be, he should be dead.
Verona: Uh, William?
William ignores Verona. Verona looks at the others. Duros clears his throat.
Duros: Captain? Everything alright?
William looks up.
William: Huh? Oh yeah, it's fine.
William turns back to face the marine.
William: Is that all?
Marine: Uh, I believe so.
William: Ok. Drop him Ragnar.
Ragnar drops the marine. The marine screams until he lands in the water.
William: Verona, set a course to where the eternal pose is pointing towards.
Verona: Well, luckily that's where the log pose is ponting towards as well. But William, what was that about?
William: What was what?
Pearl: The grand heist of Marie Jois. What does that mean?
Duros: And who was this "he" you spoke of?
William: ... It's probably nothing. I'll tell you guys later. Just *sighs* tell me when we reach the island.
William walks away.
William: I'll be in my room.
William heads below deck and the others look to each other.
Cyril: Is he alright?
Pearl: Something is really bothering him.
Louis: Oh mademoiselle, such a caring and charming person as all ways.
Pearl sighs and shakes her head.
Verona: I've never seen him like this before. In the entire time we've been together, nothing has ever spooked him this much to his core.
Ragnar: I agree Verona. This marine captain most know something about his past.
Duros: But, I thought we knew everything about William.

Well, I know this is shorter then the first but I really wanted to get another chapter out soon and I did enjoy this chapter. I know the action wasn't really good but I promise you when we meet Captain Brick, it'll get better. By the way, should I post on the reddit that a new chapter is out? I was gonna assume that the people reading this have saved this story in their library, and I don't want to spam the reddit with chapter updates, but I will post on the reddit when I start writing the second "movie". Also, tell me if you guys (and Pearls) are enjoying the story so far. Anyways, I hope you all have a wonderful life and I'll see you all later. Bye.
