"Wow- I- I don't even look like myself!" You exclaimed as you stared at this completely, new, gorgeous lady reflecting off the mirror. You makeup artists have really outdone themselves! This was by far the best you have ever looked in your entire life. "Well you got to impress Mr Holland!" Remarked one of the younger artists, giggling slightly, your makeup team were practically like family to you since you spend a lot of time with them on a daily basis anyway.
You couldn't help but slightly blush, "That's not the point!.." although it kind of is, deep inside you wanted to look good for Tom.
The head of your costume designing team, chose a maroon dress to sync in with the Spider-Man theme however they were slightly smirking when they picked it out for you. There was definitely something going on but you trusted them anyway.

"Well come on! Holland's going to pick you up soon!" Your manager shouted from the other room, as you stuffed your phone into your bag and strapped your heels. Although you and Tom weren't actually dating you both agreed on going to the Premiere together since you didn't want to seem all lonely.
On cue, there was a knock on the door, the same rhythm that belonged to Tom, you opened the door and watched as both your eyes widened.

Straight away, when Tom's eyes locked with yours, he looked you up and down and stared at how beautiful and glamourised you looked. He admired your features, your eyes, your soft lips, your dimple that shone out when you smiled. At the same time, you were astonished by how good he looked, by how his muscles bulged in a way that made him see, powerful. Tom knew you loved it when he wore his glasses, and only wore it for you on this occasion.
You soon realised that the reason your design team were acting all suspicious was because they matched your outfit with Tom's, purposely.

After both of you had fully taken in both of your beauty, Tom smirked as you linked your arm with his. "Darling you look- you look gorgeous." You couldn't help but slightly blush as the both of your entered the limousine. "You don't look so bad yourself." You complimented as he fixed his glasses posture. "Yeah, I wore these especially for you Princess." He smirked. "Tommm stop being so cheesy!" you laughed as he pulled you closer to him so your head was resting on his shoulder.

The drive wasn't too long, so you arrived in around 10 minutes. Flashing lights blinded you as you made your way to the red carpet.
For the first 15 minutes into the Premiere, you took photos with the cast, photos with Tom and some photos by yourself in different poses. Surprisingly, many photographers complimented your posture and compared you to a professional model even though you had no modelling experience whatsoever.
However, since Harry Holland, loved his photography, he asked you a million times to model for him and the photos received a lot of fame. Maybe it was because you were already famous or because they actually liked the photo. The good thing is that it boosted Harry's career and he received many DM's the next day.

You now found yourself in an interview with some woman from BBC Radio, "So, one last question that the fan's are dying to hear, Miss Y/l/n." The tall woman began, holding a microphone to your mouth. "Go ahead!" You chuckled and smiled, already knowing about what the question might possibly be about.
"So, many fans are saying that you and Tom Holland are dating, can you confirm this?"
You chuckled nervously, "I'm going to be honest, me and Tom are not dating. We are just best friends that's all." The lady didn't seem satisfied by the answer and replied, "Well surely friends don't look at 'friends' that way."
Those were the words which so many people told you about you and Tom, those were the words that hit you most. The words that you knew were true, no matter how many times you shoved it out of your head.
Trying to distract yourself, you noticed Tom getting overwhelmed with so many people shouting at him to look this way and to look that way. Tom always preferred to be out of the spotlight and hated loud noises. Especially when people are shouting in his face. "Sorry one moment" you excused yourself and stood next to Tom, interlocking your fingers with him.

Tom smiled and felt a sheet of ease pass over him as he clutched your hand tightly. He loved it how Y/n always knew when he was in stress or was overwhelmed, he loved it how Y/n was always there for him.
"Thanks" he mouthed as the cast made there way to watch the movie. "Anytime Holland" you joked as he wrapped his arm around your waist.

At this point, everyone was seated, and you were next to Tom and Robert Downey Junior. The movie was just about to start as people made there way to the seats. Tom was distracted into some conversation with Jacob and Zendaya when Downey began speaking to you.
"Y/n." He called as you looked at him and smiled. "Have you told Tom yet?" He asked. "Wh-what do you mean?" You lied, you knew exactly when he meant. "You know what I mean." Downey knew you better than anyone, he was practically a Dad to you, whether it was on or off set. You sighed, "I can't risk it, what if he doesn't like me back?" You complained, Downey sighed, as if he heard this enough from you.
"Listen Y/n, anybody can tell that you and Tom love each other."
"We are just friends Robert." Just friends, but deep inside you both wanted to be so much more.
"Friends don't look at 'friends' that way." He gave you a straightened smile as the movie began rolling.
The entire time you couldn't help thinking about what everyone was telling you, friends don't look at 'friends' that way...

You couldn't tell Tom looking at you in a more-than-a-friend way but everybody else could notice it, even the interviewers! Maybe you and Tom were destined for each other? Maybe...

Tom's POV...

When the movie ended, the cast stood up and everyone applauded. "Mate?" Whispered Jacob in my ear, I turned to look at him. "Have you told her yet?" He asked, giving me a look to say you-better-not-lie. "What? I don't know what you're on about." I lied quickly, even though I did know what he was on about. "Don't lie." I hate him so much when he is right. I sighed, "I can't risk it Dude, what if she doesn't like me back!" I complained, finally giving in, "Besides we are just friends"
Jacob exchanged a sceptical look at me and shrugged, "Say what you wanna say but friends don't look at 'friends' that way."
I had heard that dialogue enough from most of the cast members and my closest friends, even my mum said that it was so obvious I loved Y/n. Well, that's because I do, but she probably doesn't even like me back. And I'm not throwing my friendship away with just one confession...
