Mai pov

"There really is no fathoming the depths of my hatred for this place." I sigh

"Mai, your father was appointed governor. We're like royalty here. Be happy and enjoy it." Mom replies

"The targets are approaching." A Resistance fighter states

"Take them out." Mother demands

"I thought my life was boring in the Fire Nation, but this place is unbearably bleak. Nothing ever happens. But yet it's places like these, where my thoughts are filled with you......y/n" I sigh

3rd pov

the resistance fighter at the beginning of the chute, who pushes the rocks down the chute with earthbending. Aang and his friends walk by and they see the rocks crumbling down at high speed. Aang looks in distress at Mai's party. He raises his staff and pulverizes the rock with a blast of air as it passes. Mai's party is alerted by the sound and looks up to see what caused it. Close-up of Mai who squints her eyes to make out who is standing above her before the picture shows Aang again. Cut back to the party.

"The resistance!" Michi points at Aang's group

Y/n pov

I see someone spread their arms which causes tiny arrow to shoot at us all. Aang.

Aang quickly jumps up, avoiding the arrows which bury themselves in the stack of construction material Aang lands on

We all run away as two of the Fire Nation guards are climbing up ladders to get to us

Katara quickly turns around and uses the water from her pouch to form a water whip and send the two guards flying off into the deep.

As I see them falling I see someone approach her from behind

The figure stretches out her right hand, shooting off some more arrows at katara.

I see this and block the shots with an ice shield

"Wa- MAI!?" I yell as I noticed the figure to be one of my childhood best friend

"Y-y/n!?" She yells back

"Oh my God I didn't even notice you. You look good" I chuckle

"W-why are you here" she asks

"Oh well uh I'm helping a friend I guess you could say" I scratch my neck as water comes over my head and soaks me

I snap over and see katara and the rest ready to leave

"Well sorry about this Mai but I'd love to see you, Azula, and Ty-lee again soon" I wink as I make fog cover the group

I hop over where the ground opened up and it disappears and rapidly closes again

As I open my eyes to see where we fell through and saw green sewage waste drips from the ceiling.

"Gross"

I look over and see Aang and Sokka rubbing their heads, while Katara just sits there a bit disorientated.

Azula pov

"Ty Lee, could that possibly be you?" I ask as I see her standing on her index fingers

"Azula!" She smiles

"It is so good to see you!" She hugs me

"Please don't let me interupt.......whatever it is your doing"
