Once again, Toriko was squeezing my face for no reason. Why does she keep doing that to me ?? It really pisses me off !!
Without thinking, I imitated her and squeezed her face too, which made her let go of mine. Then, we stayed quiet and stared at each other with confusion. Jeez, five seconds have passed but it seemed like forever. To break that awkwardness, I started to speak.
« Eh Toriko ... have you ever heard about cute agressions ? ... »
« Uh ... »
Damn me. I made this situation even more embarrassing. I just want to run away, right now, but even if I do so, I'm certain Toriko will run after me without hesitating.
« Nevermind, forget what I said »
I was ready to put my hands away from her face but suddenly, she grabbed them and put them back on her cheeks.
What- What the heck ??! What is it with this woman ?!
I turned all red and let a ridiculously sharp scream go out of my mouth. Then, she looked at me straight in the eyes.
« Come on, tell me. What are cute agressions ? Were you really willing to let me in suspense ? »
I had no idea how to deal with this whole situation ... but I was completely responsible.
So take on you Sorawo !!
Toriko cocked her head and smiled at me. She absolutely knew what she was doing. I had no choice but continue.
« Hum well ... from where should I start »
I was still holding her face with her hands on mine. I couldn't help but look away. Everywhere but her beautiful face.
« I- I just happened to watch some videos on YouTube... of cats ... cute cats. Really cute. And hum, I found some articles about them and human reactions to cuteness. It seems that each person responds differently when they see something cute. That was really fascinating in fact ! And so, sometimes, by being overwhelmed by too much cuteness, you just can't take it and then end up saying weird stuff like « you're so cute I could eat you up », or acting aggressively like grit your teeth, clench your fists or even pinch ... squeeze ... or bite ... the thing you consider adorable... »
While I was speaking, I realized what I was saying. That was undoubtedly the most embarrassing moment of my entire life. Why did I ask that question ?? ... Whatever, now that I'm at it, I should at least finish what I'm saying.
« And so ... I also read this is why with some couples, one of the partners can ...bite you without any apparent reasons... even if you are only cuddling... It works like a balance on your emotions. They can't handle how much they love them ... so they bite. But gently for sure !! They don't attempt to hurt !! Like cats or dogs when they are playing ! »
Here I am, stammering and panicking like an idiot. What if she thinks I was confessing or something ?? God it looks bad, really really ba-
«Sorawo. Are you asking me if I find you cute ? »
« Eh ? What are you saying ?? »
I tried to remove my hands from her face but she kept holding them tightly.
Just go off of my hands already !!
Then she continued.
« I should be the one asking you that you know »
« What do you mean ? »
I could feel the sweat going down from my forehead and my pulse going quicker and quicker. What was I supposed to answer ??
I tried to justify myself.
« Listen, it is just that, you, squeezing my face... it made me think about what I read earlier. That's all. Nothing more. »
« Hummm »
Was it supposed to be an answer ? And what with that grin ??
Toriko finally let go of my hands. Or at least one, holding the other in her hands.
« So, if I understood well Sorawo, you said that if I am squeezing your face, it is because I find you cute ? »
« WHAT- NO ! THAT'S NOT WHAT I WAS SAYING ! I- »
« Oh really ? Too bad ... because I think you're cute Sorawo »
While saying that, she brought my hand towards her mouth. I was barely touching her lips, which looks really soft by the way. Toriko showed me her most gorgeous smile and stared at me even harder with her seductive eyes. Then she opened her mouth.
« ... you are so cute ... I could eat you up »
Can you imagine an erupting volcano ? This was my head. My head was now the Mont Vesuvius. How could she tell something like that so easily ? Was she really thinking it or only teasing me ? I couldn't tell because I had no fucking idea of what was going on inside her brain !!
« Sorawo, the face you're doing right now is kinda scary. What are you thinking about ? »
« Hey ! That's my line ! »
« Nah, it's mine », and she grinned again.
I didn't know how I was feeling. She was so irritating but yet ...
Impulsively, I freed my hand and harshly grabbed hers. I was holding it so tightly with all my strength. I couldn't look at Toriko, only at her hand. Mine were starting to tremble and I could feel my face turning even more red.
« Hum... cute agressions. Yep. That's what I was saying. I should be the one asking you. You think I'm cute, right Sorawo ? »
She was right. Toriko was extremely cute, but also gorgeous, and all the words that refer to beauty. Yes. She definitely was the beauty in person.
« Come on Sorawo, admit it »
Right now, she definitely was teasing me.
« I- I guess I could say that ... yeah. You're cu-cute Toriko. »
« Hummm so that also means that you like me right ? »
« ... »
« ... » She cocked her head, as usual.
« I- ... Jeez ! Why are you asking if you already know the answer !! »
« Because it is so funny to watch at you being all flustered ! »
I let go of her hand while she was laughing so loudly. I had now two solutions : run away as I previously said, but she would obviously follow me, or knock her out and bring her to Kozakura-san. That could work.
Suddenly Toriko stopped to laugh. She got serious again and leaned towards my face. Way too close. Then she finally stated shamelessly.
« You know Sorawo, this would be the perfect moment to bite me if you asked me. »
