"Kenzie!" My mom screamed. I ran down the stairs. "What?". "Don't forget that we've got to get your supplies for school later on today." She said for like the 50th time. "I won't" I said, my aggravation showing. I went back upstairs and continued to work on my song.

If you ever find yourself stuck in the middle of the sea, I'll sell the world, to find you

If you ever find yourself lost in the dark and you can't see, I'll be the light, to guide you

Find out what we're made of, when we all call to help our friends in need

You can count on me, like 1, 2, 3, I'll be there

And I know when I need it, I can count on you like 4, 3, 2, you'll be there

Cause that's what friends are supposed to do, aw yeah

Oooooo, oooooo, yeah, yeah

If you're tossing and you're turnin and you just can't fall asleep, I'll sing a song, beside you

And if you ever forget how much you mean to me, every day I will, remind you

Oh

Find out what we're made of, when we all call our friends in need

You can count on me, like 1, 2, 3, I'll be there

And I know when I need it, I can count on you like 4, 3, 2, you'll be there

Cause that's what friends are supposed to do awe, yeah

Ooooooooo, ooooooooooo, yeah, yeah

You'll always have my shoulder when you're crying

I'll never let go, never say goodbye

You can count on me, like 1, 2, 3, I'll be there

And I know when I need it I can count on you, like 4, 3, 2, you'll be there

Cause that's what friends are supposed to do awe, yeah

Ooooooooo, ooooooooo, yeah, yeah

You can count on me cause I can count on you

I finished the song with a final strum and laid back. "That's good" said my brother, Caleb, who had been standing at the doorway. "Thanks" I commented back. "Anytime little sis, anytime". I gave him a dirty look. I hated when he called me little sis, I don't know why it just aggravates me. He smirked, and walked off. I sat there and thought for a while, looking out the window. I like California better than I do Alabama. California is a lot sunnier, and lots of famous recording studios are here, like Hollywood records. Man, I wish I was good enough for that, but I seriously doubt that I am. "Kenz! Come on, we're leaving!" Caleb shouted from downstairs. I pulled on my high top converse, grabbed my phone, and went downstairs. "Ready?". "Yeah, come on". We walked out the door, and went to the car.

When we got back, I was exhausted. We had been out for nearly 3 hours, and had only bought a few things. I laid on my bed on soon fell asleep from exhaustion.
