Meeting Cora!

It was killua 'oh shit' "fuck I'm sorry" I say putting the knife away "you're okay just come inside" he says "sorry but I need to go" I quickly run off it's around 8-ish so I go sneak in my house quietly and I got my bag from the gate where I left it I go to my room and take a breath not thinking at all I passed out on my bed.. same thing happened in the morning

I turned it off and I changed into a baggy hoodie and black leggings

'back to hell #2 I go' I start to head to school not looking at my phone til now ' 91 messages?! 50 from gon and 41 from killua all of them asking where I am eh they already know now as I get to school I see gon getting attacked by 5 males out of instinct I jumped in fighting the 5 males

"oh well I guess I can have a girl to touch on" one of the pea brains say " as if I'd let a douchebag even think about touching me!" I yell I ended up knocking the boys out and rushed to gon "hey you okay what happened where does it hurt?!" I say worried I get the med kit from my backpack and fixed him up he didn't say much he seemed embarrassed "th-thank you y/n where did you learn to treat wounds?"

He asks 'i do it on myself all the time...' "oh I always wanted to be a doctor!" I almost wanted to puke ugh never would I want to be a doctor after I helped gon killua came running behind me "gon!! What happened"

I saw killua with gon so I decided to walk away that's when someone tugged on my sleeve I turn around to see killua "thank you y/n but can I talk to you after school?" He says "sure but I'ma head to class right now" I say walking off.

once I finally head to my class I sit down and observed the area wasn't much just kids talking and others sleeping but there was this one girl with brown hair
Crying silently 'is she okay? I'll wait till after class to approach her'

Time skip

Once class was over I walked next to her "hey I'm y/n! What's your name?" I ask she looks up at me with curiosity blooming in her eyes "o-oh I'm Cora" she said with a gentle smile "hey we don't have 30 till our next class wanna go outside and talk?" I ask she then nods her head and I take her to the lake I saw

"hey I have a question" she asks as we sit down "hm?" I respond  "I don't want to sound rude I just wanted to know why you talked to me out of everyone around" she looked down as if no one really talks to her "well there's 2 reasons 1 you looked like the only person who wasn't annoying and when I looked at you, you were crying so I wanted to see if everything is okay!" I say kind of like excited cause she seemed down. She looks up and me and give me a warm smile "thank you y/n"

I opened me eyes wide for a second then turn to her "thank me? Why?" "Cause no one ever really talks to me I guess I was just lonely" she said with a frown forming on her face I jump on my feet "well that won't be a problem anymore cause I'ma annoy the heck outta you!" I say putting my hand out to help her up

"th-thanks" she smiles as time passes we went to all of our classes thank god we both had the same classes. I saw killua in 3 of them but he seemed- distant it was finally lunch and I bring Cora to the table with me gon and Killua I introduced them and we all talked I didn't eat again today, I just had no motivation to eat I felt killua staring at me a few times but I just didn't mind after lunch killua tapped my shoulder

"h-hey are we still gonna talk after school?" He asks "mhm!" I reasured him then the bell rang so me and cora said bye to the boys and we were talking about random things

time skip

school is over and I have to talk to killua now 'i wonder what he needs to talk about?' "wanna walk home with me Y/n?" Cora asks "sure I just got to talk to killua first he said he wanted to talk to me" I tell her as I get my stuff from my lockers and start to leave the school with her next to me that's when I see killua by the gates

'here goes nothing' "hey killua!" I say walking up to him "hey can I talk to you in private for a second?" "Sure I'll be right back cora" I say walking with killua by a tree

"so what's up?" He takes a second "hey... What's been going on?" He looks down is he okay?? " Killua I'm doing okay but what about you, you seem upset" he then looks in my eyes 'yep something is definitely making him sad' "when I saw you sleeping by the cliff yesterday... Your arms were covered in cuts.. and you didn't eat at all yesterday or today..."

I look up at him and he looks like a sad kitten "hey, it's alright I'm doing better thoes are old and I didn't eat today cause the food is nasty but hey if it makes you feel better I'll eat tomorrow" I say as I see a slight smile form on killua's face

"can I walk you home since my house is right by there?" He puts his hands in his pockets "sure as long as you don't mind cora sticking around" I say and I grab his wrist dragging him to cora so we can walk

"baka I can walk you know" he says I turn around to look at him he had slight pink on his cheeks "apparently not fast enough" I stick my tounge out at him and giggle Cora looks at us and asks "are you two dating?"

My eyes were wide "n-no it's not like that he's just my friend"

Killua's pov

"n-no not like that he's just my friend" y/n told cora but why did that hurt I mean we are friends I don't know why but y/n makes me act different from the second I saw her 'what did you do to me?'

Y/n pov

As me killua and cora were walking I notice killua looks a bit down but before I could say anything we arrived at my house   I turn to killua "hey text me okay and don't forget and remember to know I'm always here for you" I say giving him a hug I went to pull back but he kept hugging me

'honestly I don't want the hug to end either... wait WHAT stop it y/n you just met him and it's not like anyone would ever love you dad was right' my eyes start to water as I think about what my dad said but I quickly wiped them away

me and Killua both pulled away from the hug and said our goodbyes once killua left i turned to cora "hey wanna stay at my house" 'my dad won't be home til 10 pm so I can bring someone over

"sure let me tell my mom" "mkay" I open the gate door and we head in my house and I take her to my room and we sit on my bed "hey y/n.. do you like killua?"
