Chapter 1

Athena POV

Hello I'm Athena and I'm 16
And I'm currently packing my stuff. Me and auntie are moving out because she can't take the nightmares anymore.

What nightmare you may ask
When I was 4 my mom sent me to my grandparents

FLASHBACK

"Honey come down breakfast is ready" mom shouted to my dad to come down. Seconds later dad stumping his feet down the stairs.

"Honey can you please tie this for me?" Dad said. I watched as she tie his tie smiling. I was eating fruits and cereal.

BEEP BEEP

I heard a car horn

"oh they're here" mom said cheerfully dad gave a confused look to mom "who's here?"

"hellooo~" I heard a familiar voice "grandmama!" I try to jump off my seat but failed because it was too high "dad can you please lift me off?" I ask dad "sure sweetie" he said as he lift me off the chair.

Once I'm on the ground I ran towards the door and hug my grandmother legs "HI grandmama" I said still hugging her legs "oh Hi sweetheart" she said as she pat my head

"No hugs for grandpapa?" said the lover of the person im hugging "grandpapa" I said as I ran of outside and ran towards him

He bent down on my level and spin me around while hugging me "oh I miss you too!" I'm always happy when they visit us here, they can only visit twice every 3 months so I rarely see them.

He carried me inside and set me down on the high chairs "sweetie you will be staying to grandpapa until tomorrow, okay?" my mom said "why mom?" I ask "Um- auntie is visiting" she explains "your sister who do summoning dev-" dad was cut off by mom "shhh" "why can't I meet auntie?" I asked.

I never met her but I have heard about her mom once told me that she is a bad woman and she thinks jesus is a mean person

Hours later Dad already left for work and it's 3:00 pm

"okay here's your backpack you have your stuff there" Mom said as she give me my bag "thank you mom" "okay now go" she said and I kiss her cheek and run off outside

"bye~" I wave at my mom

I didn't know this was my last word to her

4:00am I woke up hearing crying sounds from the living room as I look around I noticed that both of my grandparents were not beside me i don't usually wake up in the middle of the night.

But I did

I walked to the living room and saw my grandmother on the ground on her knees while grandpa was on the telephone also crying

"grandpa, grandma? Why are you crying?" I asked they both looked at me with red puffy eyes, why are they crying?

"sweetie, come here" my grandmother said tears are still falling from her cheeks. Came closer to her,she put both of her hands on my shoulders

"I'm sorry sweetie I'm sorry" I was confused what is she sorry about? "why grandma what's wrong why are you are you crying" as I asked her she cry harder "Philip please tell her I can't" my grandmother said as she let's go of my shoulder

I turned to grandpa "what's going on?" "sweetie I'm sorry but your mom and dad are... dead" he said and cry harder 'dead?' Like willy the dog dead or play dead

"dead? Like willy?" I ask
"yes like willy" he answered mom said that willy is in the better place up there with jesus
So if they're dead that's mean they went to a better place without me... they left me. She also said that I can't hug, play, or even talk to willy so I can't hug, play, or talk to them anymore?!

I stare at the wall as I thought of those things I felt grandma hugging me from the side but I stay still not knowing what to do without them 'how can I sleep at night?' 'how can I start school without them?'

I remember that night I almost cry all of my tears

End of flashback

After that 6 years later my grandparents died due to a accident that only I survived I was only 10 my guardian ship was passed to my auntie who is calling me right now.

"ATHENA LET'S GO!!!" she yelled
"COMING!!" I yelled back

We finished putting our boxes on the car I sigh as I took the last look of my grandparents house

Oh did I told you about my auntie being on the same house when my parents was murdered? she said "I tried to help but they pushed me off the balcony" her being push off the balcony it caused a leg injury permanently

"take the look girl cuz' this is the last time your gonna see it" she said as he wrapped her arms on my shoulders we both sigh

"okay chop chop we need to move before night falls LET'S GO~" since the bus accident with my grandparents I became an introvert so I don't have to worry missing a friend

We both entered the car me sitting on the passenger seat and her of course in the driver seat
I fastened my seat belt and put on my headphones and lean my head on the window

I hope this will be a new beginning for me... again
