Chapter 2 The Investigation

Jared: There's no need for that. We'll get her out of here.

Jaune: (smiles) Thank you, sir. What about the other dust crate?

Jared: Leave it. She needs medical attention. Get her to the Black Hawk.

Jaune: Yes, sir.

Jaune carries her bridal and takes her to the Black Hawk. Jared looks around inside the container and leaves. Back at the helipad, Moo Snuckel and Marcus were reading the Black Hawk's staus while Cartoonz and Ohmwrecker are waiting for Jared and the others. T

hey see H2O Delirious first coming over. He boards the Black Hawk. Last was Jaune and Jared but the 2 notice Jaune was carrying a girl. They were confused about it. Jaune was close to the Black Hawk.

Jaune: Guys, help me get her in.

Cartoonz and Ohmwrecker nodded and helps Jaune get the girl Faunus in the passenger. Jaune now takes a seat and Jared did the same.

Jared: Freedom Eagle, get us out of here.

Moo Snuckel: Copy that. Marcus.

Marcus: On it. 

Marcus and Moo Snuckel begin starting the engines of the Black Hawk and started lifting up in the air and leaving the ship. Jared and Jaune were looking at the ship in the distance while H2O Delirious, Cartoonz, and Ohmwrecker were looking at the girl Faunus.

Cartoonz: Yo Delirious, who is she?

H2O Delirious: I don't know but Jaune knows who she is. (to Jaune) Yo Jaune!

Jaune: Yeah?

H2O Delirious: Who is she?

Cartoonz: Yeah! I have never seen an animal part human before.

Jaune: That's because she's from the remnant, my home. She's a Faunus.

Jared: Okay but what's a Faunus? Maybe you can explain it to us.

Jaune nodded and tells his squadmates about the Faunus in his world. After 15 minutes of explanation about the Faunus, his squadmates were mixed of emotions of shocked, surprised, and amazed.

Jared: Wow... A world where part human and part animal actually existed. I feel like I wanted to meet one of them.

Cartoonz: Pretty fucking amazing! I mean, if we have allies like the Faunus then there's no way the terrorist can beat them down.

H2O Delirious: I swear the fuck if they have a bear Faunus I'm gonna hit myself with a baseball bat.

Jaune: Well, they actually do but sadly not anymore. The bear Faunuses were wiped out to extinction.

H2O Delirious: Mother fuck!!!

Jaune: Yep, it's sad. 1st Lieutenant Lord, you don't look surprised, are you alright?

Ohmwrecker: Nothing very surprising at all, 2nd Lieutenant Arc. Just had no words.

Jaune nodded to agree on what he said. Jaune turns his head to see the Faunus girl as she is keeping herself quiet from them.

Jaune: Hey, what's your name?

She looks away from him.

Jaune: It's okay, we're not gonna hurt you. You're safe now.

She stills look away but soon her stomach begins to growl, causing everyone to know that she is hungry.

Jaune: Anyone got any food?
