Chapter 2 The Investigation

Jared and Jaune notice that H2O Delirious, Cartoonz, and Ohmwrecker were awake.

Jaune: G- Guys? Do you listen to my story?

H2O Delirious: Yeah, when I hear your story I feel sorry for you, bud.

Cartoonz: Me too.

Ohmwrecker: I can't believe that your father disowned you. What kind of man is he? Abandoning his own son is a crime.

Cartoonz: Yeah! Hey, if we can get to remnant, I gonna beat the shit out of that old fuck for abandoning you! Including that Whinfucker!

H2O Delirious: Save some for me!

Ohmwrecker: If you two are going to do it, I suggest you use stun guns as a punishment.

Jaune was shocked to see his squadmates are standing up for him.

Jared: See Jaune. All of us care about you. 

Jaune: I- I don't know what to say... Thanks, guys. For everything.

H2O Delirious: No problem bud! We look up to like a brother and hero, heck, back in the war you took out 9 Russian tanks in a row!

Cartoonz: Fuck yeah! You're a badass back in the war.

Ohmwrecker: Even though you pass the fake transcript, you still have potential. Back in the war, you saved 30 civilians in the battle of Hamburg. What you did is heroic.

Jared: Yeah, you're now a war hero Jaune. Sandman and his squadmates would be very proud of you.

Jaune remembers the old good memories from his old teammates that took care of him, Metal Zero One. He smiles and misses them.

Jaune: Thank you, guys... Thank you.

????: Who...

They all looked at the Faunus girl as she began to speak.

????: Who... are you, people.

Jaune: (smiles) I'm Jaune, Jaune Arc.

Jared: I'm Jared Miller.

H2O Delirious: Johnathan Dennis but you can call me H2O Delirious.

Cartoonz: I'm Luke Patterson, like Delirious said, you can call me Cartoonz.

Ohmwrecker: I'm Ryan Lord. Ohmwrecker.

????: It- It's nice to meet you all. I- I'm Deery. T- Thank you for saving me.

Jaune: It's no problem, I'm glad that your okay but how did you end up on that ship?

Deery: I- I was delivering some dust crystals to menagerie but then a blink of light flashed in front of me.

H2O Delirious: Blink of light?

Deery: Ye- Yes. When it disappeared, I was in the middle of the forest. I don't know how I end it up in the forest. I tried to use my scroll but I got no signal, so I tried to find help until... I... Found.

Deery now starts to shake as she remembers all the horrible things that the Terrorist did to her. She was about to cry but Jaune acted quickly as he wraps around her for a hug and calms her down. 

Jaune: Shhh, it's okay, it's okay.

Jaune helped Deery to calm down and she fell asleep. She lets him sleep on her lap and lets her rest.

H2O Delirious: Blink of light? Is that how you got here to earth Jaune?

Jaune: Yeah, the way she said is how I ended up the same.

Cartoonz: But how did you get here?

Jaune: I don't know...

Timeskip

They all fall to sleep on the long journey home. It was very quiet but soon they woke up immediately as the  Black Hawk made an alarm sound, causing them on alert.

Cartoonz: What the!?

H2O Delirious: What the hell is going on!?

Jaune looks outside the Black Hawk's doorway and looks around, he widened his eyes as he spotted that is incoming to them.

Jaune: Stinger missile!

Jared: Everyone, hold on!

They hold on tight and the Black Hawk is hit and begins to spin around.

Moo Snuckel: Mayday, mayday! This is Freedom Eagle, we are goin' down, I repeat, we are going down 8 miles south of Waypoint 10...

As they hold on, a bright light flashed in front of their eyes and everything was black.
