Man-" As I said, its MY bloody office, I can do anything I want here!" As he finished his sentence he looked deep in my eyes, and as soon as we made an eye contact, his eyes, emotions, physique, all calmed down, he leaned in, his scent and his intense stare was not making it easy at all, his right hand cupped my face and his thumb came in contact with my bottom lip, that was it for me.

I closed my eyes, our lips were inches apart when my phone rang, it was Aryaman.

As soon as Manik saw the caller, his eyes again got ignited with anger, was he.....was he jealous??

Nan-" Excuse me, I need to take this call, its important."

Man-" More important than me?" his eyes soft. I couldn't reply.

I turned and left his cabin.

Flashback over.

We can see, Manik is all angry today, employees were shocked to see Manik angry on a Monday, he never used to get Angry on Monday.

He wasn't able to think straight after the morning incident, to clear out his mind, he called Soha, his So-called girlfriend.

Man-" Soha, are you free tonight?"

Soh-" yes baby, why what happened?"

Man-" we are going on a date, be ready at 8."

Soh-" oh sooo romantic!!!! I have been dying to go on a date with you since so long! so shit its 4, I ned to go shopping and there's a lot to do, okay bye baby! I am so excited!!!!!!"

She cut the call and here Manik held his head thinking why he was dating such a kid!

Nandini was working in her Cabin with full concentration when Abhimanyu came in her cabin.

Nan-" bhai, any news regarding that Kapoor? that bastard acted to be there for us, but bloody hell!"

Abhi-" relax nandu! he is in London, he will be flying back to India next week, we only have seven days to plan."

Nan-" Bhai, I promise to you, I wont leave this man! he killed our father!"

As she said the last line, tears welled up in her eyes but she controlled her emotions and said

Nan-" June 1st and he will be in jail, that's my promise to you!'

Abhi-" I am proud of you, you are so strong! I am sorry that I wasn't there for you when you needed me the most!"

Nan-" no bhai it wasn't your fault, its the situation we are stuck in."

Nandini was hugging Abhi when manik entered and heard the situation part, Manik all misunderstood it and began slow clapping.

Man-" wow, Nandini, just wow, I mean how do you do this? all this, trapping all the guys in your trap?"

Nan-" Mind your tongue Manik!"

Man-" you know, when I first met you, I thought that maybe you're different and not like other girls.."

Abhi-" MAnik, its enough! don't say any such thing that you will regret later!"

Man-" Abhi, you should stay away from this girl! first she tried to trap me, but I am smart enough not to get trapped, then she tried trapping Aryaman, her project Partner and now you, she's Nothing but a gold digger and slu"

Manik couldn't complete his sentence as he received a tight slap, from Abhimanyu

Abhi-" Mind you tongue Manik! how can you say something like this to Nandini, forget Nandini, you shouldn't say these words to any women how can you say these things?"

Man-" Didn't I tell you that she traps people, see, she trapped you, you slapped me for this manipulative girl! we are bestfriends and I seriously don't mind this slap because I am helping you to get out of her trap! " he pointed towards Nandini and said looking at Abhi

Man-" she's a bloody Manipulative Bitc.."

Abhi-" She is my sister, Manik, She's my cousin." Abhi said in a gave up tone. Abhi lied to Manik, well not completely, she was his sister and he couldn't hear a single wrong and inappropriate thing about her!

Listening to this, realisation struck at Manik and he looked at Nandini, for the first time after accusing her, and what he saw made him drown in guilt.

Nandini had tears in her eyes, she was strong enough to hold them back but as soon as manik saw her, tears made their way down, she turned, picked up her bag and started to leave, Manik tried stopping her but she ignored him and was about to leave when she said

Nan-" I am taking a half day, I hope you don't mind it, SIR"

she weighted on the word sir and it pricked Manik's heart to hear. she left.

Abhi gave a final look to Manik and he left behind Nandini, to console her.

In Nandini's cabin, Manik was standing there, with tears of guilt in his eyes and thinking about the GRAVE MISTAKE of misunderstanding the girl he is most affected by.

I am sorry for not uploading any new chapters, as I was busy with my exams and guess what! I got my results back and I scored 93%
