HiccupPOV

Everyone around me was complaining about how tired they were. I mean I was tired, but we hadn't reached the island that I was planning to reach on the map. I wondered if we flew the wrong way. The island should have been here by now. My idea was to fly to the island, rest and then fly back to Berk, but that's not how it's going now. I saw Meatlug was flying her wings off. The others were not in better condition. Well Toothless is a Night Fury, and they can fly long distances, so I was lucky.

"Hey Hiccup can we stop yet?" pleaded Snotlout, "Hookfang is about dead over here."

"Well we would stop. If there was somewhere to stop."

Everyone stared at me in disbelieve.

"Uh ya," I said awkwardly, "I don't know where we are, and when we'll get to the island on the map."

Everyone was furious at me.

"When we get back to Berk Hiccup. I am going to kill you." screamed Astrid.

"Ya, well if we get back to Berk. I muttered to myself.

"How about we just turn around here and just head back to Berk," suggested Fishlegs.

"No guys. We have to fly on, because if we turn around back, we won't make. I mean look, our dragons are exhausted already, and if we turn around, like I said they won't stand a chance."

"Which means we won't make it either?" Tuffnut asked

"Okay, don't say that." Ruffnut cried.

"Guys we only need a little bit more." I said.

We then flew on, or rather to say dragged on. Then I heard Fishlegs scream.

"There, an island to the left of us!"

We all turned around to see a small island barely enough to fit all of us on it. I mean I would not even call that an island. It was covered in mist and fog, so I could not see most of it. Then I heard Fishlegs mutter something to me.

"What?" I asked as we flew around the island the island trying to get a better look at because of the fog.

"Hiccup, I don't think you'll like this, but it looks like there is something down there." He quivered.

            Toothless POV

I growled for the other dragons to keep going trying to reassure them that I wasn't yet exhausted, but that didn't help them. Our bed-ragged group flew on. Then I heard Meatlug's rider scream. I turned around thinking that we were under attack, but only to see Meatlug okay. "Hiccup!" I heard her rider scream. "There's an island right to the left of us." Finally I thought I could have a break. We have been flying the whole day already and my wings were hurting really badly. I flew around it looking where to land.

"Uh bud lets not land yet. We don't know what little land this is and what's on it."

I madly hit him in the head with my ear. I was tired.

"Hey Hiccup." I heard Fishlegs say, "I don't think you'll like this, but there's something down there.

"Great, now we can't rest." Astrid mumbled.

I looked down as I flew closer. I couldn't believe my eyes. A female Night Fury. She didn't move, as she lay there in a weird position. All of us flapped our wings to get the mist off the island, so we could see better. I then heard Hookfang growl out loud. No! I thought he would only make the Night Fury wake up, and defend itself! The Night Fury woke up with a start at Hookfang's growl, and leaped into the air. She tried to fly, but one of her wings was injured.

Hiccup POV

I told Snotlout to calm his dragon. Hookfang wasn't very good with wild dragons. Then the Night Fury woke up. It tried to fly but couldn't. The Night Fury shot plasma blasts at us. We dodged. It looked as if the dragon was protecting something.

"Guys, no matter what the Night Fury does. Do Not, do you hear me Snotlout and the rest of you. Do Not fire at it. We want to help this dragon. As you can see I think it was in some kind of battle. I mean look at its wings and neck. Those are serious, newly made, fresh wounds." I said

The Night Fury was getting weary and tired, as its wounds were bleeding.

"Astrid, bring it down." I screamed to Astrid and her dragon.

"No, Hiccup stop!" shouted Fishlegs, "It looks as if its protecting something. Lets take a closer look."

I flew closer to the ocean to look under the dragon's wing. Then I saw it. A girl. About my age, under the dragon's wing. She had injuries also, and she looked as if she pasted out.

"Your right Fishlegs. Well then Astrid bring her down carefully." I replied

"Okay. Come on Stormfly! Lets bring it down."

I watched as the Night Fury gave up under Astrid's dragon. I told the others to hold the dragon's wings, so we could fetch the girl. I then flew Toothless to a stop on the island, and picked up the girl. She had serious burns on her stomach, legs, and bite marks on her hands. She needed help. Fast. And then I looked into her face, which was unscratched. It was beautiful, I thought. Wait. What?
