Ophelia Knight was the first and only friend of the youngest of Queen Victoria's children, Prince Leopold. For his 17th birthday, he begged Daimler to allow him to go into the city or at the very least leave the palace and much to Ophelia's surprise, he agreed. In Leo's conquest he met or more accurately saw a group of street rats, and in his attempt to escape the palace to befriend them, Ophelia is forced to follow him so he doesn't get himself into trouble or hurt. While keeping her best friend out of trouble, she herself takes a liking to a certain street rat named Spike.
