You have to go into these things knowing you will get it. But I never do. You can never let anybody see that. But you keep it to yourself, your little secret. And then it's the day of the audition and you wake up and you take your bags, you do your makeup, and you put your hair in a bun so tight it feels like it's pulling out your hair. And you put on tights and a leotard and you put on warm ups. And you drive to the studio. And you get there and you get your number. And you warmup and you take off warm ups and put on your tutu and you put on pointe shoes and you warm up until it's almost your turn and the nerves are killing you and you tighten your bun and you fix your makeup and double tape your ribbons and then you are called and you walk in and they all stare at you because to them you are not a person you are something that can be used and you do your best and you try so hard and you leave so nervous because results will be posted tomorrow and you wake up and immediately go to look at the results and you almost can't look but you do and you didn't make it so you try out again somewhere else. You have to go into these things knowing you will get it but I never do
