Zenitsu just stood there, scared, focused on the demon in front of him.

“Hm... You don't talk much do you?” The demon asked.

Zenitsu was too afraid to talk right now, he just shivered

“Are you cold?” The demon asked again.

“W-wha-? No!!” Zenitsu managed to spoke out

“Ah! So you do talk!”

“E-eh ? Uhm, yes..”

“Hmm.. Oh well- My name's Tanjiro! Tanjiro Kamado ! It's a pleasure to meet you!” The demon let out his hand for Zenitsu to shake it

Zenitsu backed away
“E-eh! Erm-!”

Tanjiro hesitate a little before chuckling softly
“Don't worry haha! I won't hurt you!”

“H-hm...i don't really trust you.. You're a- you're a demon after all!” He spilled out

“Oh that's fine hehe! I mean...” Tanjiro paused a bit before taking a look at the shorter male in front of him
“.... A demon slayer uniform? Are you a demon slayer..?”

“M-mhm! Yes i am!” Zenitsu stuttered

Tanjiro snickered
“I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry! My apologies, demon slayer.” Tanjiro tried to hold back laughs.

“H-huh? What's so funny?” Zenitsu raised an eyebrow
“Nothing nothing” Tanjiro laughed softly

Zenitsu had the time to look at Tanjiro's features and clothes. He was wearing a demon slayer uniform too.

“Are you? I mean were you a demon slayer too..?”

Tanjiro smile faded away and he went quiet.
Zenitsu felt irritated by the sudden silence
“u-uhm.. sorry if that was-”
“No it's fine.” Tanjiro interrupted Zenitsu “yes i was a demon slayer.”He continued

“Oh i see...”
