"Come on kids, don't look so down" my mother said. A new town; Another fresh start; Another attempt to fit in. My names Blair Fuller , and my life's been full of fresh starts and new step-dads. In every town we've moved to my mother has found herself 'falling in love' with the first rich guy she sets her eyes upon. And when those petty relationships fail , she forces me and my two brothers to 'move on'. My oldest brother Flynn got sick of it, he became distant and faded away: my brother Silas spent most of his spare time studying, hoping to achieve a better life than he had received. And me, well I daydream , it's my way of escaping my awful reality.
We arrived at our new house. I got out of the car and stared blankly at it. It was a dark, gloomy house surrounded by dead grass. "U sure it's not haunted" Flynn said, while standing next to me. We turned around to face our mother who was standing with her hands on her hips , "anyone gonna help me with these boxes?".
I walked over to her and rolled my eyes. I picked up the boxes with my name on them and walked closer to the house, as my brothers picked up theirs. I stood in front of the house, "oh hurry up" Flynn said while pushing past. He opened the door as if it was the door to heaven. We walked inside the dark, gloomy house. Flynn and Silas slammed their boxes down forcefully, however I placed mine down softly on the floor. Silas flicked the light-switch, a weak yellow tint came from the light above my head. "Well at least it works!" My mother said.
Me and Flynn races upstairs to pick a room, the biggest was my mothers and Flynn was obviously faster than me and got the second biggest. I then walked to the third biggest, leaving Silas with the smallest at the end of the haul. I walked into my new room and slumped down on my bed. How on earth could my mother afford this big house?
