--- The forest ---

It was breezy April day, one on which commander Erwin was in town, leaving Levi's and Hanji's squad training in the forest. The two of them decided to focus on using the ODM-Gear with only one string, you know, in case it should ever come to that.

It was around an hour from dinner, the whole day into training, that Levi snapped, pant up from all the mistakes his squad had made, most of them were my fault.

"Okay, that's it! I am not putting up with you fuckers and this shit any longer! (L/N), my office!" Levi yelled as he came down from a branch on the ground, glaring right into my direction. It was about the dozenth time that I flew face first into a tree, not counting the times before our last break.

"Put corporal I-""Now!" I got cut of in the middle of my sentence, slowly getting down from the tree. With a sight I started dragging myself after Levi, who was stomping directly into the direction of the headquarters.

"Uff, do you think (Y/N) will be alright?" Sasha asked as he lowered her string, swinging in a playful manner as she looked after the two of us.

"No. I really don't want to be in his situation right now...I am glad it wasn't me who broke the camel's back," Eren sighed relieved, having made just as many mistakes as me.

"Same. We can't help him out, right?" Armin asked as he turned around, facing the group of people who all stared into the direction of the headquarters.

"No, but I will talk to Levi later, maybe he will take back whatever punishment he will give (Y/N)," Hanji said before starting their training again.

--- In Levi's office ---

"Sit," the raven haired commended, pointing at a chair in front of his desk, slamming the door shut after I entered.

"Yes Sir," I followed his commend. On the one hand I feared what kind of punishment I will get; on the other hand, I was glad to let my body relax after hours of training and countless times of being hurt.

But I soon felt stiffer as during training, having Levi's angered gaze fixated on my face. I began to breath quieter, blinking less as I stared in his dark blue eyes. Mesmerizing. Beautiful.

"Do you even know how shitty you were right now?" I got pulled out of my trance by his harsh words, adding 'inflamed with range' to my mental list, keeping silent.

"If this was a battlefield you would have died!" emphasizing the last word, he now screamed at me again. After a slight break he continued, "Even the newbies in training are better than you!"

With every word my eyes travelled south, not wanting to hold my head up and not wanting to face his gaze.

"Hey, are you able to talk or has a cat gotten your tongue?"

I answered slowly, "I can talk sir."

"How do you plan on making up for the mess you made out there?" He leaned back against the wooden desk, crossing arms and legs while waiting for a response.

"I could get on my knees and beg. Beg for merci and forgiveness," my mouth moved on his own while my eyes were fixated on the others crouth, hoping for him to accept my offer.
