"Sixty grade better be something interesting."

McKenna groaned as Michelle pushed her into the car.

"It will be!" Michelle said shutting the door.

"Ya, no it won't." McKenna said twisting her ring around her finger.

"Excited?" Michelle's mom asked hopping into the drivers seat.

"Not really." McKenna replied in a polite tone.

Michelle nudged McKenna with her elbow.

"What?" McKenna whispered.

"Pretty awesome that you two will be on the same homeroom again this year." Michelle's mom started the car.

"I guess." Michelle said looking down at her

"Forever"
McKenna clutched her backpack as the car pulled out of the driveway and out the neighborhood.

Michelle looked out as the car drove past the green trees.

The car pulled up at the parking lot of the new school and McKenna blankly stared at the building.

"Watch out for speeding bikes." Michelle joked.

McKenna punched her arm.

"Ow!" She squeaked.

"I barely touched you."

"Ya whatever."

"We're here! Have a fun first day of school!"
Michelle opened the car door and jumped out.

"Wait for me!" McKenna yelled trailing behind her.

"Come on!" Michelle said pulling her best friend's arm across the parking lot.

Michelle looked out for a bike but instead a black BMW with a head of short brown hair popping out of the window caught her eye.

"What's up Emmy!" Zack's now deeper voice homered at Michelle.

"Ew" McKenna groaned.

The car came to a stop and he hopped out.

His eyes followed as the car swiftly drove out of the parking lot.

"Stop calling me that my name isn't Emma, Emily, anything with an E that would fit the nickname."

"M for Michelle is sounded out as Em, so Emmy. Get it?"

Michelle rolled her eyes and walked away.

"So who's your home room?" He turned to McKenna, matching their pace.

"Grimsted."

"Wait really? Same!" He exclaimed.

"WHAT." McKenna's face spun to meet his in pure horror.

"Ya. I guess we're classmates again." He grinned.

"Not again."

"What about you Em. See better."

"Same as both of you." Michelle replied monotone.

"Hey maybe we'll even put desks will be near each other like last year!" Zack said jokingly.

"Ya and if so all you'll see is a grimace everyday for the rest of the year." McKenna said coldly.

"Very funny."

"Ya so funny."

"Super."

"Mhm."

"Well at least now we have other classes and won't be stuck to him the whole day." Michelle whispered.

"What was that?" Zack said interrupting their thought.

"Go away no one likes you."

"The people who do like me say otherwise."

"Go away."

"Hmmm I'll think about it."

"Now."

"Hmmm..."

"Leave."

"Hmm."

"Get lost."

"No thankyou."

"Hey guys!"

"Spencer go over there and take Zack with you."

"Your voice is deeper too."

"Sure is Michelle."

"Both of you leave."

"What home room Spence?"

"Grimsted. What about you guys?"

"Oh not again."
