Artemis eyes swept over the fighting Gamorreans, towards the crowd to eventually fall on Gor Koresh, a male Abyssin.

Din sat down next to him while Artemis remained standing next to the cradle.

"You know this is no place for a child," Gor Koresh said, "or a woman," he added, glancing at Artemis.

"Wherever I go, they go," Din simply said.

"So I've heard," was all Gor Koresh said.

"I'm told you know the location of other Mandalorians," Din said, turning his head to look at the Abyssin.

"It's uncouth to talk business immediately," Gor Koresh pointed out. "Just enjoy the entertainment."

They all looked at the arena and Grogu squirmed as one of the Gamorreans knocked his opponent to the ground. Artemis offered Grogu her finger in comfort and he held onto it tightly.

"Bah!" Gor Koresh exclaimed. "My Gamorrean's not doing well. Kill him! Finish him!"

The Gamorrean was about to finish the other off, when the latter dodged out of harm's way.

"Do you gamble, Mando?" Gor Koresh questioned Din, but Artemis noticed the change in his voice.

Something was not right.

"Not when it can be avoided," Din told him.

Gor Koresh chuckled. "Well, I'll bet you the information you seek that this Gamorrean's going to die within the next minute and a half. And all you have to put up in exchange is your shiny beskar armor."

"I'm prepared to pay you for the information," Din began, looking at the Abyssin. "I'm not leaving my fate up to chance."

"Nor am I," Gor Koresh said, before shooting one of the Gamorreans.

The crowd shouted and fled the room while more associates of Gor Koresh dashed towards them, their blasters pointed at Din, Artemis and Grogu.

Artemis tensed up and her hands went to the hilts of her lightsaber.

Gor Koresh chuckled. "Thank you for coming to me," he told Din. "Normally, I have to seek out remnants of you Mandalorians in your hidden hives to harvest your precious shiny shells." He chucked again. "Beskar's value continues to rise. I've grown quite fond of it. Give it to me now or I will peel it off your corpse."

Artemis' eyes darted towards Din, who felt surprisingly calm.

"Tell me where the Mandalorians are and I'll walk outte here without killing you," Din said calmly.

Gor Koresh grinned. "I thought you said you weren't a gambler . . ."

Artemis and Grogu looked at Din's arm, where the whistling birds were situated, and upon seeing Din activate it, the latter closed his cradle.

"I'm not," was all Din said, before sending the whistling birds on their way, temporarily blinding the associates.

Artemis pushed the cradle away from harm's way before standing back to back with Din. The Gamorrean, who hadn't fled and had been watching them from inside the arena, lunged towards them, but missed and crashed on the wooden bench.

Artemis ignited her lightsabers and started deflecting blaster shots that were coming at them. Din was taken by the Twi'lek male that had led them in, from behind, but he managed to get away, knocking him out in the process.

Artemis dealt with the other associates, her two blue lightsabers slashing and twirling, killing every person who tried to approach her.

Behind her, Din was busy fighting two man at the same time, but Artemis wasn't worried. She knew he could handle himself just fine.
