💙Beginning chapter 10💙

In a slight bending, I reached out to Edward and said, "Come on Edward, don't feel bad that these two grown men are laughing at you, it doesn't mean anything bad."

I stared back at them, and my eyebrows dropped, and my face frowned. They immediately turned left upon seeing my face.

I turn to Edward, still extending my hand down to him, and he lifts his hand near mine and grabs onto me. "Thanks, Winry," he said smirking.
Mustang cleared his throat and said, "Edward your name will be Evelyn, try introducing yourself with a female voice,"

Edward mumbled in a feminine voice, "Hello, I'm Evelyn, nice to meet you,"
"Now tell me you're the best Mustang, " Mustang beaming. "In your dreams, " said Edward.
Armstrong turned back to get something: "Here are some shoes. The flats are for you, and Wirny can have the heels." He handed the shoes to me, then to Ed, "Akui likes short women, so you can take the slippers."

Edward said to himself frantically, "You should stop thinking about my size." Mustang said, "And you admit that you are short of congratulations."
Edward balled his hands into a fist, "Damn you, if I had my alchemy, I'd smash you against the wall."
Laughing, Mustang offered, "I'm sure I like to seeing you try."
"Oh, Winry," Mustang whispers to me, "You might have to give me your wedding ring." I nodded and took off my ring.
As Edward put on the slippers, he looked up quickly. "No, she can't remove her ring, " Ed said."Sorry," Mustang responds to Ed, "but we have to follow this order. It's pretty risky to be around Akui, who believes married women shouldn't be around him, and for Winry's safety, the order is in effect."

With a sigh, Edward replied, "I understand, then we'll go." I quickly slipped my left foot into the heels and slid my right foot into the same position.

I embraced Edward's lower arm and leaned in to say, "Let's go Evelyn." I winked at Edward, and we walked together with Armstrong and Mustang.
Mustang moans, "Armstrong please don't remove your shirt in front of people," Armstrong replies in an agitated tone, "I'll keep that in mind since I like to show off my manly side!"

We arrived 14 minutes later
Mustang turned to us in the backseat, "One last thing, here," he said.

Edward opened the purse and found a gun. "For your protection, don't do anything foolish," Mustang warned him, Edward zipped the pure and held onto it as we got out of the car. There were fewer men but a lot of women in the ballroom, and suddenly I felt uncomfortable.

(Why do I feel so shaken up about the mission?)
"What's wrong?" Edward asked as he held my hand tightly, and I replied, "It's nothing." Mustang and Armstrong follow us in, and we make our way inside and look around. Edward opens the door for me, and Mustang steps forward and opens it for me.

My eyes were wide with pretty colors blue and yellow. I saw so many people dancing together with women in nice dresses and men in tuxedos. As I spun around I said, "Wow this is so fantastic, Evelyn, isn't this great?" Edward stuck his finger in his left ear and spoke, "Yeah sure, let's finish this mission, maybe blow this building up, " he said, looking at his finger for a second before glancing at me.

A scowl emerges from Edward when Mustang nudges him. "Remember Edward, don't destroy anything, or we'll be the ones to lose which means your ass will pay for everything."
