Cardinal

I slowly walk down the stairs. Usually I train for a little bit once I wake up but I didn't feel like it. Unmanly, I know. There was a few people already up. I walk over to Shoto who was making her breakfast

"Hey Sho, you look tired..." She looked up at me. "I kept falling out of bed. I swear my soul mate was training all night." She handed me a plate with waffles. I walked into the living room and sat on the couch.

"Hey, Kirishma, right?" I looked to my write to see a girl right next to me. I nodded, but then I got a better look at her. "Whoa! You look like an alien!!" I instantly regret saying that, afraid she was insecure about it. But she just laughed.

"I know right!! It's so cool! Anyway, I'm Mina Ashido!" I smiled at her. "Well, you already know my name!" She laughed again. "You're funny! We're gonna be grate friends!"

I was shocked by that statement. The only friend I've ever is Sho. We were only four, but still. I've been known to come off too strong and eager. So I stopped trying to make other friends. And the fact that someone asked me if I wanted to be their friend caught me off gard.

"Heeey. I see you've met the cardinal!" It was that yellow haired boy. Uh...-Kam-Kaminari!

"Huh? What's that spouse to mean!?"

"Chill E," Shoto. "a cardinal is a bird."
"Ohhh. Coool!" Kaminari and Ashido laughed.

"Todoroki-san!" We all truned around to see Midoriay coming towards us. "You ready?" Shoto nodded and stood up-

Only to fall back down again.

Half the class sounded her. "Are you okay Todoroki!?" A tall girl with a big black pony-tail yelled. I think....Yayorouz. Yeah. That. "I-I'm fine. It's my soul mate. It happens often."

"Does it hurt?" Uraraka asked. "Sometimes." Midoriay looked at me. "How often?" I stared at him, kind of getting lost in his eyes. "Uh! Al-almost everyday." He looked back at Sho, who was sightly playing with her string.

"Maybe you should pull back."
