"What were you thinking?!" Mom raised her voice at me. "He's the same boy who you said tried to kill you!" I avoided contact with her as I sat at the table attempting to eat lunch peacefully.

She had a point though. Ace is dangerous to be around, but something was still off about the way he suddenly started to act and attempting to be nicer. But my parents are right, they probably just want me to be safe.

"I don't ever want to see that boy in our driveway again. We don't need you to be putting Brooke in some kind of danger." Dad spoke up. Nevermind about what I thought before. It's not my safety their really worried about. I shouldn't be surprised really.

"You're going to graduate this year, and if you aren't going to grow up soon there's no use being here." Mom said, staring at me with a blank face.

I sat there frozen for a moment. "You're going to kick me out..?" I asked quietly. "That is if we ever see you with that boy again, it's going to be the last straw. Aside from that, you need to start working again so we can pay rent." Dad said to me.

But that's just ridiculous. He's supposed to be a parent yet never had a job in the first place, but I'm expected to do something.

I hate it here. I hate everything.

Before anything else could happen I heard my phone buzz.

Unknown: It's Ray, we need to talk.

I sighed reading it. Now wasn't a good time but it's better than waiting.

I groaned and sat up from where I was laying. My head was throbbing like hell as I looked around the cell room. I was in jail again. I got up from the mattress and washed my face in the sink. Looked like shit in the mirror of course.

I was used to being in here now but it didn't matter, I knew they was gonna let me out soon. After a while, an officer came to release me.

"You know, none of this will get you anywhere." The officer said while making sure I wasn't going to do anything. "Yea, can't change it though." I said, not facing him. "Not true son, you're going to need to change or this'll be your life forever. "

Heard it all before.

"You know this isn't what your parents would want."

"...Shut up already." I said and put my jacket and sunglasses on.

Once I got back home, I walked right passed the gang. Snake tried to say something but I slammed the door on his face. That old man was right, but they aren't here anymore. Nobody's here anymore. Nobody cared.

May have been from the hangover or the cop's words repeating over and over in that moment, but my ears started ringing and I held my head.

Before

Y/n was still tryna avoid me. I don't get what her deal is because I can't tell if I'm getting through to her or not.

I don't wanna admit it but I felt guilty for yelling at her. All I did was confuse, and most likely scared her. Might've said sorry but I saw an older guy come out of her house. Assuming it was her Dad, I left not wanting to take any chances of my ass getting beat by him.

"Hey Fellas." I said, walking through the front door. "Hey Boss.." They all replied, sitting at the table. I walked passed them to our freezer, hoping there was still beer or something left.

Snake got up and came over to me. "Bossss, can we talk?" He asked, leaning against the wall. I groaned and slammed the fridge before looking at him. "You assholes drank everything, even the chocolate milk!" I yelled before heading over to my room.

I opened my door and went through my dresser, hoping to find some cash.
"I think you're a little obsessssed with that girl." I couldn't find my money and turned to Snake. "I'm not obsessed. Like I said before, we're using Y/n to get rid of the powerpuff girls." I said before shoving past him.

"Aye! which one of yous went in my room?!" I yelled out at the boys sitting at the table. Both Grubber and Big Billy pointed to Lil Arturo. "..Arturo...mind telling me what happened to my money?" I asked calmly, only for him immediately run out the door. "¡Soy demasiado hermoso para morir!"

"Little shit.." I muttered before Snake came up to me again. "Bossss I don't like this, you can't trust her!" He suddenly yelled.

I grabbed the collar his shirt, raising my other fist in front of him. "We've been over this already.. We're playing nice until the right moment, then that's it. I don't wanna hear anymore. And the only one who gets to hurt her if they wanted is me." I said and dropped him on the floor. "That goes the same for you two." I said, referring to Billy and Grubber.

Without another word, I slammed the front door open. "Gee..why is Boss so mean...?" Is all I heard from Billy before leaving. I just needed something right now to make me forget everything.

I didn't care enough to abandon that car I took. I needed it to find a store faster.

I didn't care about asking an adult to buy for me like I'd normally would. That actually reminds me of an..old friend...I used to hang out with. Older guy, that would buy me booze when I was 15. I haven't talked to him in a while, but he's probably too busy for me anyway.

When I found a store near by I grabbed a bottle of Tequila from the shelf, not bothering to acknowledge the cashier. I broke the top part off and started to gulp as much as I could, while walking out.

Everything else became a huge blur and all I remember was red and blue lights.

Wowie I actually didn't have a hard time figuring out what to do with this chapter :3
