In a parallel universe everyone gets a necklace with the first letter of their sole mate's name when they turn sixteen. Lucy gets a D for Dustin's letter, her best friend, who is also her crush. However when she goes to tell him that she got his letter, he is dating someone new so she lies and says the letter was a B instead which happened to be the same letter as Dustin's best friend who Lucy hates. Bryce Stone. Was fate right all along does she really belong with Dustin? Or will fate be rewritten when she has to pretend to start liking Dustin?
