No, Rio. Don't swear at the children.

Start from the beginning

"Damn you Karma!"

As Rio predicted, Todoroki was literally their tank, freezing and busting through the trees and monsters, allowing the others to gain an opening. Combined with Itona's master slicing skills, Nagisa's surprise attacks, and Karma and Rio's pure combat skills, they busted through the place in no time.

Kayano was just kind of there, healing their injuries and navigating their pathways.

"Time?"

"No way....you actually got an hour?" Mandalay was in awe.

They high-fived each other, and even Todoroki and Itona, who were usually stone faced and indifferent, joined in.

"Mkay, so how long are we going to have to wait now?" Karma teasingly said.

Answer? A damn long time.

--------------------

"What was our time?" The group of Class 1-A students asked.

"Eight hours. Kind of sad." Pixie Bob commented. "By the way, your classmates have already finished eating and bathing and are probably messing around now."

Meanwhile, the six of them were playing UNO, and Itona had won all four times. Todoroki was still confused on how to play.

"You really don't have a childhood, didn't you? Don't worry, we'll help you." Kayano sympathized.

"You guys really had to do that to me." Todoroki rolled his eyes.

"Oh, who's the kid?" Rio leaned back to see a small boy standing by the doorway.

"I win." Itona placed down his final card, and Rio shrieked.

"F***! I HAVEN'T WON A GAME!" She slammed down her cards in frustration.

"OH MY GOD RIO NAKAMURA! THERE IS LITERALLY A CHILD AT THE DOORWAY!" Nagisa deadpanned.

"Yowza, chill." She turned back to the kid. "Sorry about that. Whatcha doing here?"

The boy gave a menacing look before walking off.

"He is rude with a capital R." Kayano glared back.

The floor of the bar was dirty and unclean, but the bar itself wasn't in that bad of a condition. The dim lights illuminated the wooden walls and cast a grave shadow on the corners of the walls.

Fitting for a place of villains.

"Dabi, you seem distracted. Something up, need some help~" Toga laughed.

Dabi swirled the liquid in his cup, ignoring the teases of the blonde haired girl. He watched it slowly, as if being mesmerized by something that lied beyond it.

"The ice is melting. You should really finish that." Kurogiri tapped on his shoulder.

Dabi broke out of his trance, and gulped it all down.

"You always seem to space out when I give you an orange margarita, but you always order it." Kurogiri wiped the cup.

"Can I not do what I want?"

Kurogiri frowned. "You're more tense than usual."

"What day is today?"

"June 27th. Why?"

'June 27th, huh.'

"Are you done yet? The newbies are always so slow."

"Slow?"

"Do you not understand how things work here?"

"No...not really."

"Then you'll be a fun new toy. Come on, I'll teach you. If you want to live, you better learn quickly."

He squat down and held out his hand.

"Take it, they're coming soon."

"Oh-ok."

"What's with that look? I'm not evil, kay? Trust me."

He took his hand, and they ran down the hall, into a small, white chamber. They shut the door and turned the lights off.

"Here's the first rule. Avoid ▬▬▬▬. If they catch you, well, best case scenario, they forcibly starve you for a week."

He smiled, gently patting the back of the shivering other.

"You'll get used to it, that is, if you have the strength to."

==============

'Would you call me strong as I am now?'

Dabi shook his head, regaining his composure.

"Kurogiri, one more Orange Margarita, thanks."

Toga chuckled at him, while Kurogiri sighed.

"Here you go."
