Chapter 11: Following the String

Nadine's POV

We went outside to see the clues. As I step outside, I saw another note on the floor.

"Guys look" said Kathryn

"Another note" said Liza

"What does it say?" Kathryn asked.

"It says: just follow the string" I said.

"What string?" Liza asked.

"That string I guess" Kath said while pointing to the red string conected to the wall (A/N: Frozen fever ang peg XD).

"Then let's go!" I said.

~~11 minutes later of following the string~~

We saw another note.

"Ugh! Another stupid note" said Kathryn.

"Kamusta kaya yung boys?" Liza asked.

"Guys shush! Let's just focus" I said.

"What does it say?" Liza asked.

"It says: We know that you are trying very hard to find the necklace. But don't worry. Take 2 steps forward, 4 steps to the left, 7 steps forward, 3 steps to the right, 10 steps forward, then BAM! Do not forget to rip this paper"

So I ripped the paper.

"Wait, did someone memorized the steps?" I asked.

"I memorize it" said Liza. Phew!

"Okay tell us" said Kath.

"2 steps forward. 4 steps to the left. 7 steps forward. 3 steps to the right. And 10 steps forward" we followed the steps 'cuz the string stops in the place where we get the note.

~~after doing all the steps~~

We saw my necklace! Thank you necklace robber!! I quickly took the necklace and wore it.

"Nadz, wait! I don't think that is your real necklace. Is the pearl of your necklace fake?" said Kath.

"Yeah I don't think that necklace is yours" said Liza.

"Huh? I- it's not fake. Why?"

"May I borrow that?" said Kath.

"Uh..sure"

Kath tries to test the necklace if it is fake.

"Yeah. This necklace is fake." said Liza.

"Whaaat?!?! This necklace is fake?! Oh no.. oh no no no no"

I hate you necklace robber!!
