this summer & your dad
supports because your
puppy eyes win him over.
We do many things; rent
bikes & ride 'em to infinity;
eat waffles at a little store
because it's cheap & sweet;
play board games your dad
happen to forget was even
purchased. You got big plans
this summer & we do many
things. One of them just so
happen to be something
sweeter than those waffles,
makes my cheeks all rosy
& my heart skip a beat I
fear sounds awfully loud.

To be honest, it's almost
hard to let this story go.
It's such a look back on
some of my most cherished
childhood memories that
I want to keep it just to feel
that nostalgia again.
