I spent many months destroying the Witch's cult. It's what he wanted, and when I finally killed all of them, including Pandora thanks to the Hōgyoku, I can now finally win the affection of Flugal's reincarnation, Natsuki Subaru. I've been watching him and his party for some time now as they travelled. It is annoying waiting for them to go away, but finally, they break off.

"There he is alone, now I can talk to him", Echidna said to herself.

"Subaru...", Echidna said approaching him.

"Wha—impossible! You're aliv—", Subaru was cut off by Echidna putting a finger over his mouth.

"Shhh! I want to talk to you, alone."

"And why should I trust you?"

"Because I have information on the Witch cult that you need to hear."

"...Alright let's talk."

Echidna and Subaru go off into the woods to avoid being interrupted.

"So, what is it?"

"You do not need to worry about the Witch cult any longer, they no longer exist."

Subaru couldn't believe the words he was hearing. Was it true that she killed the Witch cult, and she did it...for him? But he couldn't ignore the fact that Echidna wanted to be with him, no she wanted to replace Emilia as the love of his life. While he appreciated what she did for him, he couldn't reciprocate the feelings.

"I...I really appreciate what you did, I truly do. But...I can't be with you. I love Emilia and Rem. I'm sorry."

Echidna flew fast, faster than she ever had before. She eventually landed next to a cabin, where she jumped onto the bed and cried her eyes out.
