You wake up yawning and stretching. Your eyes heavy as you squint to open them. The bright light floods the room as you sit up rubbing your eyes until they open.
You look as you see your gloomy apartment walls a few feet from the foot of your bed. In the light flooding the room you see dust particles dance about like they were in a spotlight onstage.
You take a heavy breath in and out as you stretch once more. You swing your legs over the edge of the bed touching the cold, hard wood ground. You look at the nightstand that stood beside your bed. It was a dark oak color and texture. You grab your phone and unplug it. You read the time at the top of your screen. 9:38 am. You stream in a little less than an hour.
As you stand up out of bed, you hear your ankles pop when you add pressure to your step. You extend your knees as they pop out farther. You felt your bones settle in their place, adjusting after your long sleep.
You walk out your bedroom, down the hall, and into the kitchen. You open the fridge and pull out some yoghurt. You mix it with the last amount of granola mix you had in the cupboard. You went and sat on the couch with your legs crossed balancing the bowl on your knee while you reach and grab the TV remote. You turned on your favorite show and ate your yoghurt.
~Small time skip~
You stand up and place your bowl in the sink running cold water over it rinsing out the leftover yoghurt and granola. You walk to your office and fill your bottle with water. You look at your phone seeing it is 10:12 am. You get back to your office and get on twitter announcing your stream.
