The screen flashed to all the surfers' name to which round should they compete. Kaiyumi walked up to the three boys and hangs an arm around Masaki's neck,

"Heyy! You guys are gonna kick those other surfer's butt, good luck"

"Ac— Kai! You scared me!"

"Look, you're in round 1, heat 2, Corgi.. Then Sho follows."

She pointed out, Masaki pushed Kai softly with a pout as he asked,

"Does that mean I'd be up against Sho in the semifinals?.."

"Only if you manage to win enough to get that far, Corgi." Tanaka teased resting his hands on his hips,

"I'll win! Watch and see, cause I'm aiming for victory!"

Masaki confidentially said, but something caught his eyes at a surfer who was bringing a surfboard with a picture of a fictional magical girl. He squinted his eyes for a better look from afar, softly muttering,

"What character is that?.."

"Dunno.."

Tanaka sighed, Kaiyumi smiled and recognized the surfer's face as she greeted,

"Hey Nao-Kun! Looking good today with Miruru-Chan"

Masaki gasped as his pink eye looked over to her voice, he nodded in reply and then answered the boy's question,

"It's Magical Maid Miruru.. You don't even know Miruru, this is why surfers are just—"

"Now, now, let's all be friends here, Nao-Nao.. Don't be mean to Corgi here.."

Kaiyumi said in a mocking tone to make babies giggle, Naoya sighed and walked back to where he was heading.

"Miruru...he said... Huwo, do you know him?!"

"Ah, Naoya? He's my....hmm... I dunno but I know he's a relative of mine."

"And to be honest, that thing was actually pretty cute. If only she can change you looks like Cactus-Chan, it's a perfect masterpiece.."

Kaiyumi hit his head and growled, "I am not and never be magical girl! But that's not the point here, how are you with the rules, Corgi?"

"Do you have them covered?" Sho asked too, Masaki pulls a thumbs up with a big smile,

"All covered!"

The host picks up his microphone and starts the competition of Round 1,

"Let us now start this competition! First up for round 1, Heat 1; Kido Naoya VS Fukutome Daigo!"

"Huwo, it's starting! Prepare Masaki, I'll be hosting on your heat later, see you guys, good luck!"

She walks off as fangirls went up to her, Masaki sighed and crossed his arms, walking to their tent to wait for their turn,

"What is like to be famous?.."

"Who knows.."

"Now let's start the heat! First, they're both heading out to try to get wave priority."

The two competitors paddled up to their priorities and wait for a big good wave to ride on.

"This is going to man-on-man priority rules. The one who makes it out the fastest gains the right to catch waves first, right?"

Masaki reviewed looking at where the scene is to both surfers' are, Sho smiled and nodded,

"Yeah, that's right. Thats what priority means."
