Welcome to Vancouver

"Take 5 everyone!" I make my way to my purple water bottle on the table. We're practising for the concert in Vancouver tomorrow. One of the other dancers hands me my buzzing phone. I check the caller ID and immediately answer. "Hey Uncle K, how are you." I say putting my water bottle down. " I hope you got the tickets I sent over, I can't wait to see you!" We talk for a while before rehearsal had to restart. "Uh Uncle Kenny I have to go but I'll call when I get home." I blow him a kiss and cut the call. "Alright guys lets take it from the top." I say going back to my spot. 

"Awesome guys, I'll see you at the airport." I say while walking to my car. That practise really took a lot out of me but I loved it. When I got home I facetimed Vilu because I really missed her. I live in L.A and she's all the way in London for some movie. "Vilu! I miss you sis." I say as I put my phone upright so I could cook and talk. "I bet you're missing Olga's cooking right about now." she chuckles. 

"You're not wrong, she has this gift with food I will never understand, anyway how's my brother in law?" 

"Hey mini wife!" he says as he pops into view. 

"Hey Leon, you have no idea how much I miss you guys!" I say sipping on a cold glass of red wine. "We miss you too! Hopefully we'll come down soon!" he makes a heart with his hands and disappears. "Hey so I'm flying down tomorrow morning for the Netflix project with Uncle Kenny."

"You're so lucky, I love Uncle Kenny!" she squeals. I just laugh as I dig into my pizza. 

"I'll let him know you say hi."

"Take care of yourself up there ok, you may be a famous songstress but you're still my little sister ok?" I nod and send her kisses before hanging up. My flight was an early morning one so as to avoid fans and paparazzi. 

I woke up at 4:30, showered and and decided to go for my classic blue jeans and Dodgers t-shirt. I made sure all my bags were in order and loaded them into the car. I took a hoodie just in case it got cold and took a picture before locking up. I sent it to Angie, Dad and Vilu so they know I'm leaving for Vancouver already. Dad doesn't like me travelling anything below first class so my team and I were the only ones in first class. I dropped off my car keys so they could get my car in. The flight was honestly too long and I fell asleep a couple of times but thank goodness I wasn't by myself. Mia, my best friend and dancer was coming along. When we landed and got our bags we found limos waiting to take us to our hotel and we delightfully went along. I called everyone important to let them know we landed safe and sound. My room was ridiculously huge and I made sure my stuff for the concert was all there. My manager got me a line to use in Canada, well I have a line for every country so I switched lines and double checked with Kenny to make sure they got their tickets. I was so excited to meet my new cast mates. I had to call it a night again when my phone buzzed and I was in a video call with my family. "Hey papi, hi Angie, Hey V, Oh grandma Angelica!" 

"My love, we just wanted to check on you and wish you luck for tomorrow!"

"Thank you, this means so much." 

"Make us proud Amora" 

"Vilu you know I don't like that." I say chuckling.

"Guys I have to go, tomorrow is a huge day and an early one too." 

I fell asleep as soon as I hit the pillow.

Kenny

"Hey guys come here for a second." I call the cast over. "As you know Rebecca Castillo is joining us on set," The start gasping and getting excited. "So she sent me tickets for her show tomorrow night!" 

"No way! I love Becky C! " says Madison jumping around. 

"Don't worry she sent one for Ricardo and Carolynn too." I hand them over. "I hope to see youe there, they're backstage passes as well."
