As soon as I walked through the door, my mood instantly became even worse. Today was stressful to say the least and I feel like breaking down crying. I just wanted to wrap myself in five blankets and never see the light of day again. What makes it worse is that when I did have a bad day, I would talk to clay about it, but he hasn't talked to me in weeks. Whenever I ask him to do something together he always has an excuse. It's either "I'm filming" "I'm streaming" "I'm tired" "I have to do this", so now I've just given up

When I got into our shared room, I immediately took a long, warm shower. When I had gotten out, I wore a pair of sweat pants and one of clays hoodies. It was the only thing I had to remind me of him, even though he lived in the same house as me. Guess I'll just watch some YouTube to get my mind off things. Who to watch...oh tubbo posted! That'll help me forget about things

While watching tubbos video, my phone started to ring. It was Niki!

Niki: hi y/n!
Y/n: hello
Niki: what's wrong?
Y/n: just had a stressful day and need a distraction y'know
Niki: why don't you come over? We can watch a movie, eat snacks, paint our nails, just have a girls night?
Y/n: I would love that
Niki: okay come over!
Y/n: be there in five
Niki: okieee

I ended the call with Niki, went downstairs, grabbed my car keys and headed towards her house. Before I left, I texted clay saying "I'm going to Niki's.". Niki lived five minutes away from my house so I got to her house pretty quickly. When I knocked on the door, she opened it pretty quickly and pulled my inside. She closed the door and led my over to the couch, both of us sitting down. She pulled me into a huge hug and we both kept hugging tighter over time. She pulled away and smiled

Niki: food is on the way, I have mean girls ready to play
Y/n: I love you Niki
Niki: I love you too!

Niki started the movie and we both watched in a comfortable silence. I was picking at my lips, obviously because of anxiety and Niki noticed this. She paused the movie

Niki: hey

I looked at her and she patted her lap. I lay my head down on her lap and she gently ran her fingers through my hair

Niki: what happened love?
Y/n: work and stuff
Niki: talk to me about what happened at work
Y/n: well um I got screamed at by three customers because apparently their drinks were made wrong, when they weren't. This one girl threw hot coffee on me and uh I feel like clay hates me
