You groaned as you sat up slowly, a hand raising to your forehead, "Geesh.. My head's killing me.." You shook your head lightly as you glanced around your bedroom. "Mikan?" You asked the comforting bedroom air. Guess she was out. Before you could climb out from under the covers, you sneezed suddenly, shocking even yourself. You paused, and joking hit you head, "I knew I shouldn't have sat in the rain last night." Before you could sneeze again, Mikan walked in slowly, "(Y/N)?" You smiled at her, and glanced at the breakfast plate in her hands, "Mikan! You didn't have to make me breakfast!" Mikan cowered lightly, "I'm sorry!" You laughed, as best as you could with your hoarse throat, "Mikan you don't need to apologize.." Before you could say another word, you felt Mikan's hand brush against your cheeks and resting on your forehead, "O-Oh my! You have a fever," Mikan panicked slightly until you held her free hand, "Your nose must be congested, I need to-" You cut her off calmly, "Mikan, it's ok, could you just take care of me for the time being?" Mikan's cheeks went pink, "Of course my beloved," Mikan helped you sit up, propping various pillows around you, then she left to fetch medicine. You glanced out the window but heard a cry. You couldn't help but smile, "Mikan? Did you fall again?" You heard a faint "Yes.." and you chuckled to yourself. You yawned lightly and found yourself slipping in and out of sleep. Slowly your eyes fluttered shut.

...

You shuffled lightly and woke when you felt something next to you. As your view focused, Mikan's face came into view. Her arms were holding your waist and it seemed as though she had her legs entangled with yours. You watched her sleep, her slow breathing and her soft dark hair falling in her face. You smiled and kissed her forehead, "You're going to get sick too Mikan.." She mumbled something, opening her eyes slightly to move a hand to your cheek. You pressed your forehead against her and sighed, memorized her movements, even down to the way she smelled of vanilla and maple. That's right, she made pancakes in the morning, didn't she? You shook it out of your head and fell back asleep in your beloved's arms.
