"So I'm gonna be a hero. I'll make that money... So that my mom and dad can have easier lives."

My eyes widened, I felt like I overheard something that I should not have overheard, it's an invasion of privacy. Whoops. But a sense of awe filled me when I heard that, good to know that there's still people who don't do it for the attention and fame.

I was about to walk away when All Might zoomed past me in an inhuman speed telling  Midoriya to eat lunch with him like a schoolgirl? Ok, you do you, All Might.

"Oh, (L/N), is that you?" Said a masculine voice.

I turned back and looked at the robot sonic man in fear. I've been caught spying, huh.

"Who's she, Iida? Why does she look kind of familiar to me?" Voiced out the brunette.

"She's (L/N), a schoolmate from class 1C." Informed Iida.

I stood there awkwardly whilst waving my hand.

"Hi there! I'm Uraraka Ochako." She stepped closer then her eyes widened and gasped. Iida raised an eyebrow at her sudden realisation.

"Wait, wait. Are you that girl who climbed over the supermarket shelves?!" She pointed at me with her padded fingers.

I wanted to evaporate right then and there.

I sighed then answered.

"Yes? I was probably that person you saw climbing over the shelf."

"(L/N), you should not climb over shelves. It is disrespectful for the people who clean it!" Reprimanded Iida as he karate chopped the air repeatedly.

"K."

"Don't just reply me with a 'K'!"

His chops got more aggressive and rapid.

"Noted. Thanks, Iida, I'll never ever climb on shelves again!"

Iida sighed then pushed his glasses back into a comfortable position.

"As long as you know the effort that goes into cleaning the shelves and swear to never climb those shelves again."

I made raised three fingers then said "I swear I'll never climb those shelves again, you happy?"

Iida nodded with satisfaction in his eyes and stopped abusing the air.

Uraraka giggled then said "You're so serious about etiquettes Iida, it's almost comedic!"

"How is it comedic, Uraraka? We need to respect everything, please don't follow Bakugo's actions."

"Right, right!"

Looking down at my watch, I realised that I needed to get to the cafeteria quickly to not make Shinso and Mizuno wait, so I said farewell to Uraraka and Iida as I walked there in a quick pace.

I sat down with Mizuno and Shinso at our lunch table and started digging in.

"Later on, when school ends, most of the students will block out class 1A's exit. I plan to participate in that, I want to let them know that they aren't the only ones who are striving to become heroes, that they shouldn't underestimate me and that I could take their spot if I did better than them. Would you care to join me?" Said Shinso as he munched on his soba.

"Sure, I won't be participating in the sports festival as a contender though. I'll be selling stuff as a student of the management course!" Voiced out Mizuno as she slurped through her ramen.

"I'll join you, even though I don't really care about the sports festival to be honest." I mumbled as I focused on my food.

"I—" mumbled Shinso before he settled for a nod of approval then continued to eat his own meal whilst watching Mizuno and I devour ours.

Mizuno and I shrugged when we saw that Shinso hesitated on his words, but we continued to eat our lunch as he seemed to have given up on saying whatever he wanted to say.

The bell rang, then everyone in the classroom nodded at each other and left in the fastest way possible. Shinso and I marched to the class 1A exits as we waited for them to open the door.

Overtime, more and more students gathered at the exits of class 1A, even Mizuno caught up to us. We all waited in anticipation as the door to class 1A opened and Uraraka, Midoriya and Iida greeted us with surprise.

"What's going on!?" Exclaimed Uraraka.

That's when a blond guy with porcupine hair walked past her. He dressed in the UA uniform, however in a style that loudly expressed the fact that he did not care about rules much.

"Makes sense they'd want a look before the sports festival cause we're the kids who survived a villain attack."

"No way out! What're they here for?" Cried a purple grape midget whilst pointing at us.

"Scoping out the competition, duh, small fry."

Hmm, this guy seems awfully rude to his classmates, but he has a courage that I lacked, the courage to criticize people and speak out.

That's when Shinso decided to emerge from the big crowd of students. He shuffled to the front of the crowd and muttered a "It's true. We came to get a look, but you sure are modest, are all the kids in the hero course like this one?"

"Hah?!"

"Gotta say, I'm a little disillusioned if this is what you're offering. Those of us who didn't make the hero course are stuck in general studies and the other tracks. There're quite a few of us you know that?" Said Shinso as he scratched the back of his neck in a nonchalant fashion.

Shinso looked back in my direction for a bit before facing the blond and saying "A little birdie told me that depending on the results of this sports festival, they might consider transferring us to the hero course."

Pride filled my heart when he said that as I was the one who told him this specific piece of information. Mizuno's blue eyes immediately turned to look at mine when he said that, ah, she must remember the time where I mentioned this huh.

"I understand the reverse is also possible for you. Scoping out the competition? For a general studies kid like me, this'll be the perfect chance to knock you off your pedestals. Consider this a declaration of war." Shinso immediately looked back at me after he said that as if looking for confirmation. Despite my feeling of him going too far, I sent a thumbs up to him in support. The corners of his mouth slightly twitched up when he saw my thumbs up, he then turned back to face the angry pomeranian.

I don't know why he smiled, but I could admire his courage in that declaration all day long if anything. It was something that I lacked once again.

"Oi, I'm from class 1B, next door! Heard you guys fought some villains, wanted to find out more, but, all I'm seeing is this arrogant bastard!" Shouted a guy with metallic skin.

The blond just decided to shove his way through the crowd in order to leave after that. Rude.

"Thanks to you, we've got a whole bunch of haters now!" Remarked a guy with a rock hard and jagged hairstyle.

"I don't care. I'm heading for the top. Why should I care?" muttered the brash blond.

Wow, bold and rude much?

The rest of the class 1A students, including Kaminari, just complained about his rude nature that earned them a lot of enemies as he left the premises.

"(L/N), Mizuno, let's leave, we have nothing to do here now." Shinso gave us a nod.

We both nodded back then started to leave the school behind.
