He then looked down to see my phone screen. He saw I was texting him and he stared at me with his smile as he took the phone from my hand and pulled me to stand up. He was checking the text message that still undelivered and he laughed.
"My phone battery is dead," he reasoned, then gave the phone back to me, "I'm not leaving," he said after reading the message. He pulled me into the warmest hug I ever had and I couldn't help to cry as if my heart was finally beating again. I could hear his heartbeat in my ear as he pulled me tighter in his hug.
"I thought you're-" I was stuttered, "your secretary said that you're leaving,"
He rubbed my back gently to calm me down and there was a low shush from him.
"I'm not leaving," he repeated. "I'll stay, Hyeyoon, stop crying," he tried to calm me down but I didn't know why I couldn't stop crying. The more he serenaded me, the more I felt comfortable in his hug. His strong grip on my tiny body that I hadn't feel for years. The feeling of being loved by him again. His scent, his warmth, his heartbeat. Everything that I could only see in my dreams was now feeling so real.
I wouldn't let go of his hug if only there wasn't someone interrupted us.
"Ahem," someone cleared their throat and I quickly turned to see Youngdae and Jeein was watching us a few feet away. I tried to wriggle free his hug but Rowoon didn't let me go.
"Don't bother us, Hyeyoon, I'm here just to check that you guys are alright. I was about to go, anyway," Youngdae grinned when he saw both of us being reluctant to let go of each other.
"Hyeyoon, you're really something," Jeein sighed beside her fiancé. But then she shrugged. "I'll let you guys talk alone then. And we need to discuss this later, Hyeyoon," she smiled meaningfully and I didn't understand what actually happened.
I looked up to see Rowoon was holding his smile. "What?" I asked him and he couldn't help to smile at last.
"I'll explain to you later," he sounded.
Youngdae and Jeein stared at each other and smiled, "We'll be leaving now, be happy my friends," Youngdae waved as the two left and walked down the stairs.

Rowoon then let me in his house and I was now sitting on his couch as he was taking a glass of water for me. He took off his jacket and sat beside me.
He gave me the water. I took it and drink to calm myself down. I threw my glance around his house, and it was so clean. So, this was the house his mom bought? It was so beautiful. Everything was in white even the kitchen was decorated with white furniture.
"Are you feeling better?" he saw me looking around his house and asked.
"Yes, thank you," I put the glass down on the table and started to feel nervous when we were left alone.
There was an awkward silence when we both didn't know what to say.
"Hyeyoon,"
"I'm sorry,"
We both spoke at the same time, and he laughed. I smiled nervously and he let me talk first.
I lowered my face and took a deep breath before proceeding, "I'm sorry for not replying to your text earlier," I told him and he went silent, waited for me to finish. "I also read your letter," I took out the paper from my pocket and gave it to him. "I thought you're leaving already. I thought I was late," I was about to cry again as my sound started to shake.
"Don't be sorry," he sounded. "It's me who should be sorry to you,"
"Don't leave," I told him when a single tear escape. I had to hold myself for not crying again in front of him. I kept my mouth shut. There were a lot of things I wished to say but I couldn't. The moment I opened my mouth, I would start crying again, and it was so embarrassing.
