She was already ready when a knock sounded on her door. Lucy grabbed her bag, rushed to the handle and opened it. Before her, was a boy and girl, around the same age as her. The girl had short, brown hair and a lean figure- intimidating anyone who saw her. But God she was pretty! Her ice-blue eyes was an ocean that kept on flowing, her lips were pressed tight together in concentration and featured was just right. Lucy turned to the boy and examined him; he, too, had eyes of the ocean and was muscly and trained. They're soldiers, Lucy thought, but they're so young. The girl cleared her throat when Lucy realised they were in an awkward silence for the pass 2 minutes.

"Ah, yes, sorry to keep you waiting, I'll go grab my mother and you can take her to," Lucy croaked, "The Recovery Home-" However, the girl cut her off,

"We're not here for your mother." Lucy stepped back in surprise, "Then who are you here for, sorry you got the wrong house," she countered.

"We're here to save you," the boy admitted, staring into her eyes. Lucy gulped, for me? This is going go completely wrong.

"I see you're ready," the girl gestured towards her bag, "We need to go, before they come."

"What makes me think I would go with two strangers who just arrived at my front door?" Lucy tried to make her sound brave.

"You will see," the boy paused, "You have an option of becoming a servant or coming with us."

"Then what will I become when I go with you? A slave?" The girl stepped in between them,

"I will give you my name then you're coming with us, we need you." Once again, Lucy was taken aback.

"B-but what about my mom?" She asked.

"She will be taken care of..." The boy drifted off.

The girl stuck her hand out as Lucy observed for any electric shocks or things that can harm her, "My name is Alice, Alice Flint." With hesitation, Lucy shook her hand.

"I am Ian, Ian Waver. I am here to keep watch over you and Alice." The boy said. Lucy stopped in her tracks, watch over us?. She couldn't dream of someone taking care of her, no one ever did since she was 6 years old. Suddenly, Lucy hears loud footsteps from a soldier nearby.

"Over here!" Alice ordered, grabbing Lucy's arm with her. They snuck around a door and sunk into the wall, daring not to breathe.

"This is Soldier Lit reporting from Ms Florence's house. No sign of movement, I repeat, no sign of movement." Soldier Lint sounded like he spoke into a phone. With slight movements, Ian, Alice and Lucy pushed them into the wall and slipped to the window; Ian winced as Alice slowly pushed the window up. A loud creak echoed across the house. Soldier Lint turned towards them, and widened his eyes in surprise. In a hurry, he shouted into the phone, "CODE SEVEN, I REPEAT, CODE SEVEN. MASTER AGENTS FOUND WITH MS LUCIANA FLORENCE. BACK-UP REQUESTED IMMEDIATELY." Ian tensed his muscles, pulled out his silencer and started to shoot at the man.

"Get outside! I will follow!" Ian yelled, rolling into the living-room.

"Come on, get down there!" Alice said as Lucy climbed out of the window. When Lucy moved away, Alice came through and led her behind a bin.

"Will he be alright?" Lucy asked, frightened from the prospect of Ian being dead.

"Are you talking about the soldier or Ian," Alice giggled, turning her head towards Lucy.

"Ian, of course."

"I'm not dead you know." In surprise, Lucy jumped back at Ian's sudden appearance.
"How-"

"I am trained," Ian replied, "Then why am I here?" Right, Lucy thought, two trained people protecting me, not what you get every day. Checking for anyone else, they rushed themselves out of Lucy's house, for they don't want another fight with another, bigger group of soldiers. The icy air stuck to her skin, as the agony in her legs from running was replaced with numbness (which was much worse). Alice opened a car door for her. Lucy hesitated, but she went inside anyway. As she glanced around, Lucy noticed the high-tech built into the car, when Ian flicked a switch; a camouflage draped over the car as they started to move. Alice threw her a silencer, "You might need this."

"You trust me?" Lucy asked, in surprise, receiving a nod from Alice. She examined the gun in her hand and noticed its engraving, 'you will fly away, very far'. Letting out a quiet gasp of surprise, she fumbled in her bag for the pen, the same graving, she thought, the same colour. In curiosity, she glanced up at Alice but she was in deep conversation with Ian, "She needs to protects herself!" she argued. "It's just giving her a chance to kill us and run away with Tanny," Ian shouted, giving Lucy a chance to eavesdrop. "What's a Tanny?" Lucy asked. Startled, Alice turned around, forgetting she was even there; Ian gave a long, cold stare then looked back at the road.

"This vehicle has been through a lot- so we called it Tanny. So, when we get into trouble, we can call it Tanny without making our enemies think it's a jeep," Ian spat, risking a glance at her through the side-mirror. For the rest of the journey, they sat in silence, daring not to talk. Gradually, Lucy's eyes drooped and she fell asleep in the back of the car, covered with bags.

Struck with fear, the girl stared at the figure, advancing upon her. She tried to sneak back into the closet- hoping she could just be sucked inside a gaping hole- away from this horrid place. As if the figure was oblivious to the world around him, he continued his way to her hiding place. When he was only a few feet away, without hesitation, the girl struck out, with her hands in fists, sending a blow straight at the figure. Realising her there, the figure rolled to the side, barely missing her shot.

"Hey! I'm not here to hurt you! Please stop! I was ordered to find you by your father!" He pleaded; his muscles tensed with every move the girl made.

"Who are you?" She snarled, clenching her fists.

"My name is..."

Lucy woke up, heavily breathing. She hauled herself by one elbow, only to see Alice, with her head in her hands. Alice head shot up to see Lucy staring at her. "Thank God," she breathed, "You're awake, we were worried to death about you." "Why are you here?" Lucy blurted out, putting her hands over her mouth in apology. Alice took a deep breath, and called for Ian, while tying her shoelaces. "Why did you come to get me?" Lucy asked again, feeling braver. "It's none of your business, now eat your food," Ian said, placing a plate of spaghetti on her table. "We need to talk after."
