"I'm sorry what?" I asked dumbfounded still by his statement, "Y/N.... I'm a—" "Yeah I get that" I interrupted him as I sat in thought about what he had meant.

Titan Shifters those in Marley that had been handpicked by officials and given special training to be given the abilities to shift into a selected titan, so this could only mean— "The Colossal Titan" Armin had interrupted my thoughts "I was given Bertholdt's titan when I was injected with spinal fluid from a regular titan after I had almost died about year ago, it's helped lots for fleets and all but I'm sure you understand that even with it I—" I continued his sentence , "You have the curse of Ymir now right? So you'd only have 13 years to live at the most.." I looked dow at my empty plate while fiddling with the utensil nervously

Selected Titan Inheritance. It was a blessing and a curse, immense size and powers that came with a short and gruesome life, and end that would ultimately end in simply being eaten and having the cycle repeated, now that I think about it if I didn't go into research I was told that I would've been a candidate for inheriting a titan as well

He nodded as he looked down, "I have about 11 years and around 7 months left so far, Erens got a few years less than me too...." he sighed, "I've been wanting to tell you this for a while now but I haven't gotten a good chance to, it's just that it's always been on my mind, this power I've been given, the destruction I can cause, honestly even the chaos it's caused in the past through memories and not to mention whatever suicide mission Eren plans, it's been clouding my mind for the longest time, when I'm here and we're studying or researching or flipping pancakes it's just,.... relaxing" he looked up meeting my eyes.

I sympathized with him as I could tell there was a look of hurt washing over his ocean blue eyes which were previously just full of joy, "Armin, you don't have to worry about that now okay that's a whole decade right and 10 years that's a whole 10 year old kid that's like—" "Y/N I don't care about that part of it"

I looked up at him in shock realizing that his painful eyes had turned into neutral ones, "R-Really?" I asked him in disbelief of his sudden mood change "Well, you see I used to be like that but uh— somethings changed you see so I'm a bit focused on losing someone—er something else" I smiled slightly "Ah I see that's lovely Armin and thank you for telling me, I'll make sure that everyday will be worth it okay? Not a single day will be a waste" I cheered

He looked at me and gave a small sly smirk "I have a feeling that it'll be just fine and...."  "What is it?" I asked him waiting for him to proceed to say something, "About the Ocean and before, I know it's short notice but, I was hoping he would leave to go tomorrow, it's about an hour and a half ride on horse, and We can set up a tent to stay overnight there, theres something I had set up there before I had left  and I was planning to show you it and maybe... I don't know..... only if you want though I totally understand if you would-" "Armin I'd love that!" I practically jumped for joy as I exclaimed, he blushed slightly "Then I cant wait, Y/N"

we both sat smiled and continued with chatting about research I had felt my smile had grown with every minute we had talked and once again I was comforted my the gentleness of Armins voice aswell as the tingle in my stomach when I had glanced his direct way

It was dark by the time we had gotten surprised by a sudden knock on the door, me and Armin had looked at each other on confusion and then back at the door, I quickly got up and made my way to the door as Armin stood up from his chair, still staying at the Dining/Kitchen table

I took a deep breath and opened the door and to both of our suprises we had seen Eren at the door, he looked at me "...Y/N, good to see you." His green eyes had now averted to Armin "Armin.. we need to talk" he said with a neutral yet slightly cold expression, he was standing in a bit of darkness with only the dim reflection of the moonlight hitting him slightly, I looked at Armin who had a scowl on his face, that's weird I know they aren't the closest of friends but that seems uncalled for Armin

"About anything in Particular Eren? or do you want to waste my time again" he replied scratchy, this side of Armin was never seen before and was scary to say the least (but a bit hot), Eren took a quick glance at me before turning back to Armin, "I think it's best if we chat in private, come take a walk with me", Armin made his way to where I was standing I front of the brunette man and placed his hand on top of my shoulder

"I'll be back Y/N soon," he looked back at Eren who was facing Armins back and then turned to me once more "And if it's about what I'm assuming then I'll be back even sooner" he said with more boldness, he then proceeded to step out and give a small wave to me as he closed the door
