His gummy smile soon turned onto a downturned one when he notice you being too quiet beside him. Normally, you'll talk about random things and stare at him but here you are, spacing out and is too worried. He really can't read you and it's starting him to panic on the inside. But he stay calm and decided to get your attention in a way that he actually loves to do. "So, y/n, you decided to embroider a carrot on your bucket hat after knowing mine is a bunny? what a cocky way to do shorty." he purred, adding his signature smirk.

He was expecting a reaction or to get hit by your hand but you weren't responding, looking so tense and the vampire can feel it on your hands. He sighed and face you, his hands are on your shoulder. "Love, I won't continue this date if I know you're this tense, what's wrong?" he purred, his eyes glistering and is worried at you.

You sigh heavily, closing your eyes tight to release all the stress and worrisome thoughts you have since then. You bit the bottom part of your lip, eyes fluttering open and to see how concern your boyfriend is. You eventually open up your fear since there's no excuse on hiding it. "I'm just scared on going out with you alone because the last we did, you ended up dying." you mumbled, feeling so tiny in front of him. "I don't want to lose you again young, I can't afford it anymore." 

Doyoung cooed at hearing the concerns, a weak smile flashing at his face whilst he cupped your face. "y/n, you don't need to worry on losing me again. Like what I said before, I will never leave you again. That accident won't happen again and I'm assuring you that nothing will ever separate us again." He responded sweetly, making you feel a warm feeling of safety and comfort but it didn't last long when you heard him continue speaking. "Unless someone out there wants to kill me for no apparent reason."

You stare at him with confusion, standing there and have you standing still. You don't know how to react or to reply on his last words. The vampire instantly regretted saying his last sentence and it made it misleading. He place a soft kiss on your lip to get your attention and once he did, he gave you a reassuring smile. "What I meant is, no one will threat on killing me anymore since I changed and I'm very knowledgeable that no one suffered because of my mischevious doing except Donghyuck. I swear, I don't own anyone any apologies and no one will get revenge on me." He said confidently.

The vampire did a excellent job on calming you down and assuring you that he won't ever leave you again, he's certain that no one will ever slice his throat and attempt to kill him. With that being clear out, both of you went back on the date; not knowing what to do in particular but to let your feet takes the two of you whenever destination awaits for you. You were having fun on walking with him; the vampire being to cheesy and sweet (but mostly cheesy because of his pick up lines) and making you laugh. Eventually, your boyfriend started teasing you but you weren't buying it. You remained unbothered and it made him whine dramatically.

Doyoung stop walking and suddenly challenge you on beating him on an arcade fighting game that he just saw. He dragged you even if you haven't made a decision yet and buy three coins, his confidence on beating you is pretty much off charts but you weren't backing off on proving him wrong. Your boyfriend started bragging at how much he spends his free time (which is avoiding work) on mastering the arcade game but you keep telling him he'll lose anyway.

"I'm pretty sure I'll win this love." You muttered with full confidence. You weren't a master on these games but you played with Yejin countless of times and you always win over her. You smiled brightly on the vampire, telling him to whine in advance because you'll be beating his ass on this game. "I won't hesitate on  breaking up with you if I lose this game." you warn him, lowkey joking but you were serious on saying it.
