Chapter 2 Part 13

Alyssa: Oh look at that, I'm tired. I'm going to go to bed. 

Miyoshi: There should already be a new level unlocked. 

Ashton: We'll go in the morning. It's late.

Tan Liang: See you guys tomorrow then.

We left the trial room and headed to our respective dorms.

I lay on the bed, tired but unable to sleep. 

Crysty, Kendric, Annan, Hannan, and maybe even Sumana...

Dead.

Pov: Hannan

When I opened my eyes, I was greeted by a hug.

Then I realised everything was black. I could see clearly, it was like the room was completely lit up, but it wasn't. It was a void. 

Then I looked up at the one hugging me.

Hannan: A- Annan?

Annan: Hey-

Hannan: I thought I- you- we, were dead- I don't get it-

Crysty: We are dead.

Hannan: Crysty, Oh my god it's- it's you...

Kendric: And me.

Hannan: And Kendric too.

Crysty: This place is like a... Holding room for us. Anything we want just falls from the sky, and there's this monitor over here that's streaming the killing game live to us.

Kendric: Sometimes this random voice asks us questions.

Hannan: Ah...

Annan: I'm so happy to have you back...

Hannan: I- I'm sorry for...

Annan: It's okay... We all do bad things. It wasn't you who thought of it anyway, it was Sophie.

Kendric: It's always Sophie. 

Annan pulled my hand.

Annan: Come, let's show you where we stay. We've made it all nice for you.

Annan brought me to a spot in front of the broadcasting monitor. It was a huge blanket with pillows on it and a bunch of snacks.

Annan: It's a little cozy corner! We eat, sleep and watch the broadcast here. There's nothing to worry about.

Crysty pointed to a small sleeping bag surrounded by pillows and snacks.

Crysty: This is your little spot. We're preparing to go to sleep since everyone in the game is too.

Hannan: You guys..

I began to tear up.

Annan: Hey hey... It's okay. Make yourself at home.

Pov: ???

???: Hey.

???: Oh you're back. How was the trial?

???: Another two gone. One got their arm chopped off...

???: It must be hard for you.

???: It is... Why can't we just stop this. I'm getting torn apart.

???: We're trying our best to stop it, nothing is working. For now you'll have to continue.

???: I'm exhausted.

???: I'll give you a hug.

???: Where is... He?

???: Operating Monokuma. I think he's working on that person who's arm got chopped off...

???: At least she's in good hands.

???: So do you want that hug or not?

She pulled me into a warm hug, the last time I got one from her was... A long time ago. I feel relaxed. 

???: I love you...

???: I love you too.
