Chapter 4 Raring to Go!

It was a peaceful day out at sea...that was until an ENTIRE FLEET of battleships and helicopters passed by the camera, the admiral of this fleet turned on his microphone to address the brave men and women in this fleet.

Admiral: "Attention all craft, I know it's been a long journey, fighting off intruders, taking on attack subs, it seems the whole world is trying to infiltrate our defense's but, it's all about to pay off, we're about to reach our final objective and with the payload safe."

The 'payload' he was referring to was a steel suitcase handcuffed to himself, with the Duel Academy logo right in the middle of it.

Admiral: "So full steam ahead everyone, this is the moment we've been waiting for, the moment Duel Academy gets their new rare cards!"

An extreme array of "H3LL YEAH!" and "OORAH!"s came from the crews of the fleet over the intercom as they made course for Duel Academy.

While that was happening, we change our focus to the Slifer dorms, more importantly, the Yuki siblings dorm where we see the four residents doing various things, Jaden was sleeping in his bed, Chumley was in his bed being lazy, Emily was at her desk passed out from an all nighter of studying for a big exam, and Syrus...well...was having some kind of séance with a portrait of Slifer.

Syrus: "Please please please, please help me ace my exams today or I'll be stuck wearing this red blazer forever, not that there's anything wrong with red of course, it's great on you Slifer but I wanna be in Ra yellow, please give me a sign that you'll help-"

The alarm blared so loudly and suddenly that it scared the crud out of Syrus, almost literally too.

Syrus: "-SLIFER?!...oh...it was just the alarm clock, which of course Jaden sleeps right through, at least Emily has a excuse for sleeping through the alarm, but how can he be so relaxed when there's so much at stake? Jaden wake up, if you miss these tests you'll never advance to the next dorm."

Jaden's response was one of, well, sleep dueling as he accidentally elbowed Syrus in his sleep.

Jaden: (Sleep talking) "Wrong cause I played a trap!"

Syrus: "Why can't he ever be dreaming in defense mode I wake him up?"

Syrus then turned his attention to Emily, who was still sound asleep.

Syrus: "Emily? Wake up please, I don't want you to miss your tests because you overslept so please wake up!"

Emily: (Sleep talking) "Pass me my (Snore), pineapple hammer (Snore), Cocoanut Boy."

Syrus: "...ok I'm starting to think sleep talking runs in their family, anyway how am I gonna wake them up?!"

Chumley: "Duh Syrus, you shouldn't be waking them up at all, just think about it, after today's written test we have our field test, and it would be totally licious for us both if Jaden and Emily slept right through it, you get what I'm saying?"

Syrus: "Chumley, I never get anything that you say."

Chumley: "Hello? The field test is where they pick class members from the same dorms to duel each other and I don't wanna duel either of them, so if we let the competition sleep in, then we pass on through, you get it?"

Syrus: "Oh I get, and I'm starting to get why you were held back for two years! Come on you two please wake up we're already late, argh I'll save some seats for you two, please hurry."
