The Marauders (etc) are 16 from the start of Panacea. So the cast may be a bit older, it's more so you can visualise their characteristics. As they get older it will be easier I guess! Although when I think about it in tv/films people are often a lot older than the character they play - like look at the Pretty Little Liars cast!
