Several scavs in the downtown district are huddled up in a destroyed apartment warming themselves on the fireplace, one is looking through the window acting as a sentry

"We got a good run comrades, as long we can keep this run we will be rich and respected. Keep up the good work and be careful" Alexei praised them as he open a bottle of water and drinks while the others cheering with a bottle of various drinks

"We got good stuff today but nightfall caught us because Skinny is trying to open the safe only to be empty" They chuckled as the one doing the sentry job raise his hand and gives them a middle finger

"I swear, it has something inside Checn"  He reason to them as he sigh

"You drank too much, you been hearing and seeing things that we can't perceive" He explained to him as Alexei chuckles

"No need to argue right now, we got a lot of goods that will compensate for that safe, by daybreak we will move and sell" Alexei added, the group settled down the night. Skinny continue to act as a sentry, he felt sleepy and tired. He leaned on the wall and briefly closed his eyes when a rumbling surprised him followed by a bright light before it disappears. He quickly ran and alerted the group

"Intruders! We got intruders!" He panicking yelled to them as the group quickly get their weapon and cock it

"What did you see?" Alexei asked him

"Rumbling..then a bright light outside" He replied as he point the window, he walks towards the window. His weapon an AMD-65 on low ready preparing to engage. He look through the window seeing nothing but darkness, he turn around and sigh

"What the fuck skinny, that is not funny" One of the group angrily pushed him followed by another

"I seen it and heard it" Skinny tried to reason to them trying to convince on what he saw

"Calm down shit heads! Madness will not solve anything quick" Alexei calm them down when a loud deafening bengine like noise startled them as the surrounding room vibrated. They hunker down and cover their heads, once the noise lowered down and disappeared they got up and aim to the windows and the corridor anticipating an attack which never happened. Alexei walks amd check the stairs seeing no enemies he signals them and he look at the window

"What the fuck is that?" Checn asked but no one answered until Alexei replied

"That noise, it came from the stadium just three blocks away" He grab his weapon and goes downstairs

"Wait we're going?" Skinny asked as the rest get their weapons

"It might be a government airdrop or something. We better nab it before those terminators got there first or other scavs" Checn replied as he get his Saiga 9x19

"Or could be aliens, if they have good package we will take it!" Alexei loudly yelled at the staircase and laughs

They exited the building using the moonlight as a guide then to the alleyways and other routes aside from the road to prevent them from being discovered. As they get close to the stadium they can hear gunfire
