Chapter 11: Hufflepuff night!

"Shut up you'll wake her!" I heard Harry hiss.
"No! I don't care she'll miss classes if she doesn't wake up in the next 20 minutes!" Ron huffed.

I sat up groggily and smiled at Harry and Ron.

"Oh, good morning sleeping beauty" Harry said softly and sweetly.

"Hey Harry, Ronald" I yawned. I through my feet off the bed and went over to hug Harry. He kissed my forehead and put his arms around my back and hugged me tightly.

"Hey luv" he said in the same sweet tone.

I yawned again and realized Harry and Ron had already changed into their robes.

I told Harry I was going to my dorm to get my robes. Once I got there I put on my white polo shirt, a tie, a skirt, and my yellow and black robes.

I returned to the Gryffindor common room to meet Harry, Ron, and Hermione. "Hey herms, Ronald, Harold" I greeted the trio.

We all walked down to the great hall and they sat down at the Gryffindor table and I sat down next to Cedric and Hannah at the Hufflepuff table.

Ernie Macmillan entered the great hall and sat down next to all three of us.

I glanced at Cedric and noticed he was shaking his leg nervously.

"What's wrong ceddy?" I asked.

(A/n- omg y'all-💀 I was re-reading this before I publish it and I read it as "what's wrong Daddy?" 😭🤚🏻)

"I'm just nervous about tomorrow" he responded, with a dull tone. I patted his back.

"Hey lets hang out tonight, go to the kitchens, maybe pull some pranks, we could even go to the astronomy tower?" I suggested. His expression lit up a bit and he nodded, "Yeah, let's do it!" He agreed.

"Ok well it's a date then. I mean-uh not a 'date date' but a- you know what I mean" I said.

Ernie and Hannah listened to the conversation.

"Can I come?" Ernie asked.
"Me too?" Hannah chimed in.

I looked at Cedric and we both silently agreed.

"Yeah that would be even more fun!" I said.

"Thanks guys" Cedric said, gratefully.

"No problem, as long as you don't invite that snobby Zaharias Smith" I said. I dived into breakfast, a big smile plastered on my face.

'It was a Hufflepuff night. This will show everyone Hufflepuffs aren't just drafty goodie-goodies!' I thought as I ate.

When breakfast was over I headed to my first class, potions with the Slytherins. My least favorite class of the day.

As soon as I walked in Draco Malfoy came up to me and shoved me.

Snape wasn't here yet so no one was there to stop him. "F off Malfoy" I said hotly, pushing past him.

"Wow Y/n is a little hot head, isn't she?" Draco teased.

"I said F off" I repeated.

"And why should I?"
"Because if you don't I will break you in half"
"And how will you do that?"
"You don't want to know."
"Or maybe your just a coward"
"Oh, and what would you do if a did hurt you? Tell your wheezy old father?"
"Well at least I both of my parents."

I starred him strait in the eye and when he just smirked I punched him. He fell down and I got on top of him and punched him over and over again.

Blood trickled from his nose and lip.
