You were in the great hall you were talking to some of your friends when Draco says something to you and you tense up from what he calls you

"Hey babe pansy is trying to get your attention." Draco says and right after he stops realizing his mistake

"Babe? Uh my names y/n." You say and Draco tried to look as confused as he could

"Wait why the hell did I call you that? Wait whatwhy the hell did I call potter babe I must be tired." Draco says and you laugh

"Never been called babe before but don't tell my brother you said that he won't be happy especially since you said it Draco." You say and you were also glaring at him like you idiot you almost gave you both away

"Yeah whatever I don't know why I called you that I'm not interested in dating, you know I only joke around about it because of rumours and it's funny to mess with people." Draco says and everyone looked over shocked

"So your not seeing some super hot girl?" One of his friends say and Draco laughs

"No I don't wanna date anyone." Draco says and pansy thinks

"But you took y/n to the Yule ball." She says and Draco nods

"Yeah she was the only one available everyone else had a date, and y/n wasn't even gonna go so why not? I didn't wanna be seen without a date that's embarrassing." Draco says and you shrug really the real reason was, you didn't want to go and Draco was trying to convince you, and you said take some random girl I'm not going, but he ended up convincing you

"I didn't want to go because everyone would ask me about Harry being in the tournament so I kinda locked myself away more, because everyone only wanted to talk to me about my annoying twin brother." You say laughing and Draco was so nervous what if he gave you both away? What if everyone figures it out? What if he messed up and now everyone is gonna find out?

But after a few minutes everyone forgot about Draco calling you babe and Draco let's out a sigh
