Faded Out Of A Dream

Pain resting my head

The monsters, I saw them underneath the bed

 A silent cry

A scream that was met with no reply

Would you be scared?

If the sound of panicked alarms blared?

 The earth started to shatter!

The people started yelling madder!

 What if I would fall?

When the world told me I had to stand so tall?

The debris shook and opened to a shady void

A fiery Meteoroid burned through the broken sky

My body fell straight down from the castle in the air as I awoke

I shot up from my pillow world no longer drenched in smoke

Faded out of a dream

I said it myself

Don't keep your words out of reach on the shelf

I carried myself, stumbled down the broken tree

Still, I stayed lost, was home ever a promised guarantee?

A breath escaped my lungs

This single fate took so many daughters and sons

Muffled scream floating through the lake

Trusting this voice, that was my mistake

Can't cry

Coldwater, illusioned my life into a lie

Drowning, I could hear the gunshots ring

Nobody mourns, not even the ruthless king

I hit the sand. Wish I could understand

Why?
