Cordell's POV

"I do not want to hear anything you have to say Jania," I said sniffing a thin line of cocaine

I wiped my nose with my sleeve and Jania shook her head

"When are you gonna stop? Like I'm trying to stick by your side bae but I've asked you to stop time and time again," she said

"Can you please get out? You're blowing my high"

I drunk a sip of whatever was in my cup. I got addicted to drugs 3 months ago. Almost every drug you name, I have done it. There was a knock on the door and Jania went to go answer it

Genesis' POV

I knocked on the door and Jania answered it. She had a look on her face that looked like things weren't going good. I decided to go see my brother because it's been a minute

"Right now is not a good time. Cordell is- He's just messed up," She said

"What do you mean?"

"He's been doing drugs for months. We've had heated arguments, he doesn't hit me but it's been rough," she said

"Uh can you go sit with Tiana in the car or wait out here?"

"Yea," she said

I gave my purse to Jania. What people didn't know was Cordell was a crack baby. My mom did drugs with him and he was very sick when born. I took a deep breath and walked into the house. I went to the bedroom where he was located.

"What's going on bro?"

"Genesis I don't have time mannn. I do not need to hear your mouth," Cordell said

"Nah. You will today! YOU GOT A GOOD ASS WOMAN TRYING TO HELP YOU! A GOOD ONE AND YOUR ABOUT TO GIVE IT ALL UP FOR SOME DRUGS?!"

I took a deep breath because I didn't wanna get my blood pressure up

"Don't really care. I love her but I'm not worried about her right now. Neither you," he said

"You know; Your nieces miss you, they really do. They ask about you everyday and get let down because you won't answer"

"How about you get out," he said getting up out the bed

"Nah. I'm good where I'm at"

He came charging at me and pushed me down. I felt a sharp pain in my stomach

"HOW ABOUT YOU AND YOUR FRIEND GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HOUSE AND HOW ABOUT YOU QUIT HAVING BABIES WITH DEADBEATS THAT DON'T WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM! AND MAYBE IF YOU WOULDN'T TAKE IN OTHER PEOPLES KIDS THEN YOU COULD LIVE YOUR LIFE!" He said talking about Tiana at the end

Jania's Room

I heard Cordell say something about Tiana and a hard thump before. I went in the house and seen Genesis on the ground

"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?! SHE'S PREGNANT NIGGA AND YOUR SISTER AT THAT!" I said pushing him back and making him fall into the dresser

I took his drugs, all the liquor, and poured it in the sink with bleach. He was right behind me and I turned around and he tried to hit me. I grabbed his arm

"We're done. Never in my life would I think you would put your hands on me. Fuck you and your deadass wrong for what you said"

I went in the room and shoved clothes and shoes in a big bag. I took some of my valuables and my purse and walked out

"Fuck you Cordell. You're supposed to be my big brother! You have the nerve to diss my kids and push me down while I'm pregnant! If you die, that's on you!"Genesis said and walked out

I followed after her and she got in the car. I hopped in the passenger and just rode along

"Why ain't you ever tell me?" She asked

"He didn't want anyone to know and I didn't wanna stress you out or the baby"

"Well we're gonna be fine. Your staying with me. He'll just have to get it together," she said and I nodded

I love him with all my heart but he needs help

Genesis' POV

I felt wet in between my legs. I looked down and I saw a red stain. It was hard to see because I had black clothes on. I made a U-turn and went to the hospital down the street

"Jania grab my phone and please call Cario! Tell him I'm bleeding and about to be at St. Hills Hospital!"

I turned into the hospital and parked close. I grabbed my purse and walked in.

"I NEED HELP!"

A doctor came over to me in a wheel chair and I sat down. I started to feel lightheaded I seen the hallway and it disappeared. Everything went black
