I sat at the bar, just like I did every Friday night, watching the crowd as I drank. I liked to observe the crowd of unsuspecting humans, living as if nothing bad ever happened in this world. But I knew better.

As a profiler, I spent the last ten years of my life hunting and catching the evil the lurked in the night. Evil that kidnapped, raped, and murder unsuspecting men, women, and children. I'd spent the majority of my adult life putting away the things we think will never happen to us. Until it does.

I took a sip of my whiskey, eyes profiling the people they came in contact with. It was hard to turn it off sometimes. My eyes caught a girl with long brown hair and fake tanned skin. She was one of those girls who wanted everyone to think she had her shit together, but in reality, she cried herself to sleep every night. She fucked men to forget just how fucked up her life is. How she's struggling to stay alive.

She shot me a smile that didn't reach her eyes, one that I did not return. I wasn't looking to home with someone tonight. I was simply just trying to unwind from a long, hard week. Sure, sex would certainly help with that process, but I didn't need it. At least, I didn't think I did.

That was until she walked through the door. I caught her walking into the bar out of the corner of my eye. I knew in that exact moment that I wanted her... that I needed her. She was dressed in a skin-tight, frilly, dress that complimented her skin tone beautifully. Her heels tall enough that she'd probably right at my height. Stockings went up past her knees so a sliver of skin was showing through. Her hair was up in two little pigtails and I had to will the blood not to rush to my cock. She smiled so brightly, it practically blinded me. She was everything I could ever dream of having. For one night.

So, as I watched her leave her friends and make her way up to the bar, I thought about how I was going to reel her in. Ever since I'd gotten out of prison, talking to women was easier.

Simply because I just didn't give a fuck. You didn't like me? Fine. There was another slut who looked just like you 25 feet away. If the team knew the way I thought, they'd be disgusted. But I didn't care. They were profilers, not mind readers.

"Can I get a Jack and coke please?" She yelled to the bartender to be heard over the music. Her voice was like velvet and I knew I needed to hear more of it. She was standing right next to me, her perfume engulfing my senses. She was intoxicating. So, I took my chance.

"I didn't peg you for a whiskey girl," I said, eyes staring into the side of her face. Clearly, she heard me because she turned and our eyes met. She shot me a shy smile and this time, I returned it. While she was confident, I could tell she felt out of place. It was clear she didn't do this a lot but did it enough to know how the bar scene works. She seemed intelligent and probably came from a middle to upper-class family. Her bag was designer, and her nails were manicured so she cared at least a little about her appearance.

"Th-those so-called 'girly' drinks just don't get me f-fucked up nearly as quick." She stuttered. I made her nervous. Spencer one, bar girl zero.

And then she stuck out her hand, "the names y/n." She was confident and it was clear she was outgoing enough. But there was just something so ... innocent about her that made me fucking wild. I had to have her; to ruin her for any other guy she'll ever be with after me.

I took her hand, shaking it and replying, "Dr. Spencer Reid."

The bartender handed her, her drink which she took with a smile, her hand moving to cover the top. Smart I thought. I decided to reel her in a little more and before she could reach for her money I said, "just put it on my tab."

"Oh no, please. It's really fine. You don't have to do that!" She tried but I just shook my head. "Oh, well, um thank you, Dr. Spencer Reid." I felt my dick twitch in my pants at her use of my honorific. Shit, I didn't even know if she'd be coming home with me and this fucker wants to act up.

"Please, just Spencer will do." She giggled. It was one of the most beautiful sounds I'd ever heard in my life.

"You seem a little too young to have gone to medical school?" There it was. The age-old assumption that I was an MD.

I smiled at her and watched as she crossed her legs, her thighs trying to be subtle as they squeezed together. Perfect I thought. I turned her on and alls I had to do was keep talking and seal the deal.

"There are PHDs... Three of them. Engineering, Math and Chemistry." Her mouth dropped. She was impressed. "But, if we want to get technical, the average age for someone to finish their residency around age 30. So I'd be five years out."

She picked her jaw up off the floor, sipping her drink, "Well see now I'm just intimidated."

Sweetheart, you were intimidated from the moment you laid eyes on me I thought to myself. But, I tried to ease her nerves by saying, "no need to be intimidated. I'm just like the rest of the guys in here." Her thighs squeezed together once more, but I pretended I didn't notice. She'd also gotten closer to me, her perfume practically choking me. But I didn't care one bit.

"The rest of the guys in here aren't nearly as attractive as you." Hook, line, and sinker I had her metaphorically wrapped around my finger. Now I just had to get her literally wrapped around my fingers. But she did it for me, "I know I just got here, but what do you say we head out? Hmm?"

She was so close I could kiss her, but I needed to hold off. While I was excited to take her home, I couldn't help but mentally laugh at how fucking idiotic this bitch was. Going home with a man she just met? But she wasn't the first, and she defiantly wouldn't be the last. "Yours."
