"Yes! Yeeeeees!!!!!!" You screamed to yourself as you look at your computer screen, Smiling because you finally got the item you've been saving up by pulling an all- nighter for the past 2 days.It was a scythe the handle red as blood and with a hanging white ribbon around the handle, it was a deadly weapon perfect for killing other players."Y/n, could you please quiet down, you're disturbing the neighbors" your mom shouted from downstaires. You blushed as you realized how noisy you were being "a-ah, gomen Mother!" You shouted in response.You are a dedicated gamer, and got it from your Dad who seems to be fond of them. This became one of the hobbies you really enjoyed, an escape from reality, where you feel like you're in control of everything. You always thought 'Why Can't life be as simple like a game?'.
As you feel your vision becoming a blur you knew that it was finally time to get a looong rest after everything, you yawned and layed in bed quickly drifting off to sleep.

The next morning, you woke up from the alarm. Not wanting to move a muscle trying to shut it off, but you had no choice but to do so. As you stood up, stretching, you saw your computer lit up from a notification

you smiled after reading this and quickly replied by thanking him and agreed to play later. You didn't know how both of you started becoming gaming buddies and it has already been 3 weeks since you started playing together, neither of you had seen each other or even know one another, both of you just started playing and instantly became close in a way but not knowing any single thing about each other besides each others age and gender.
You then quickly prepared for school,rushed down to eat breakfast, and went out after saying goodbye to your parents.
You silently walk to your school, Miyagi Prefecture. Where the once powerhouse volleyball team plays, but now they lost the title and is known as "flightless crows".

"Y/n-chaaaannn!!!!" Oh no, you thought to yourself as you heard a familiar voice. As you turned around, you see the short orange-head( but he be taller than you)running with the speed of lightning.He quickly tackles you to the ground. "Good morning y/n-chaaann" he lets out a smile. "Seriously Hinata boke, can you stop doing that? My back always gets sore because of you jeez-_-" you annoyingly tell him. He stood up and reached out his hand for you to grab it "sorry, I just feel the need to do that everytime I see you and don't call me that-_- Only Kageyama can."He replied letting out a laugh.

You and Hinata became quite close after the first day of our freshman year and ofcourse we still are 1st years, he joined volleyball on the very same day too but rather bumped into a problem that prevents him from joining, he then came up to you all of a sudden to talk about it since you are his seatmate and the only one with no one to talk to,at that very moment came instant friendship.

Both of you continued to walk to school rambling on about different things actually, about his passion on volleyball and yours towards Video games. You also like watching volleyball and know how things work there from rules to faults, since he would invite you to watch him practice, he was amazing at it, especially because he is partnered with an amazing setter known as Kageyama.Hinata even pushed you to try playing it just once, you liked it yes, but never really thought of joining the girls team because You don't wanna be wasting energy on sports but rather on Video Games.

It was a normal school day nothing unusual, but Hinata once again invited you to watch him play after school hours, ofcourse, you agreed. As you are walking to the school gym, thoughts of your favorite game "DeathGate " pops into mind, you were thinking of a strategy to play later, and This made you happy, without realizing it you are already standing in front of the schools gym, sounds of rubber shoes squeaking on the wooden floors. "Excuse me for the intrusion" you said bowing, upon entering the gym.
