Chapter 1

Hello ppl yes I have a new Fanfic so

How did it come to this? How did I get here? Am going the right direction? But it's like what they say it's not about the destination it's about the journey.

Aang was on a truck full of other people. Who were like him dirty, with dirt all over their faces and clothes.

He looks around. To see the people looking very tired. Aang rests his head and hears someone coughing.

The driver of the truck says.

"Everybody quiet, we are near the border."

Aang's heart raises as he hears the guards asking questions to the driver.

"Good evening." The guard says

"Good evening." The driver replied.

"What do you have in the truck?" The guard asks

"Just some animals officer." The driver lied

"Animals?" The officer asks.

"Yes animals." The driver reassured the officer.

"Let me see some papers." The officer said

Aang hears the sound of paper. Then the person who coughed earlier coughed.

Aang looks over with a sacred worried expression.

Oh no. Aang thought.

"What was that?" The officer asked suspicious of the driver.

"Nothing." The driver said suspiciously.

"Are there people inside?" The another officer asked

"No." The driver said suspiciously.

"Open the truck!" The officer said.

Aang hearts raises to new heights as he hears the officers getting closer to the back of the truck.

"Tell me the truth!" The officer shouted

"There are people in there!" The other officer shouted

"No no." The driver said

"OPEN THE TRUCK!" The officer said

The driver was forced to open the truck.

"I knew there were people." The officer said

As soon as the truck was open all the people ran out and started to run for the woods. Aang kinda stood there as people pushed him. The officers weren't paying attention to him and aang also took the opportunity to run.

He ran to the woods going up and down left right. Aang saw that there were flashlights trailing him so he hid behind a tree. In the distance you could see the officers with their flashlight. They didn't see anyone so they moved on and ran in another direction.

Aang saw the coast was clear and started running again and while he was running he thought.

We create our own paths by choosing. Either we go right or left. Straight we can also make u turns. What's important is you make a decision and you stick to it. And just hope and pray that whatever path you take, you'll still make it to your destination.

Aang ran and found a ditch and hid. As he hid he saw two officers luckily running past him not noticing him at all.

Aang gets up from the ditch and found a place in the woods that was comfortable enough to sleep.

Aang woke up with the sun on his face. Aang saw where he was and got up from his position and proceeded to walk. He walked around for a while and heard a truck and saw the truck with hay inside with two people.
