Arriving at the Diner, you got a table for two. You both agreed on sitting in the tall, spinning chairs at the bar, not because you drank, but because whirling around in the tall chairs was enjoyable. The waiter placed their specialty, Lembas Bread, on the table and took our orders. You and Legolas enjoyed the meal, paid for by his gift card. You learned about his past as a cosplayer, violist, and, of course, an archer. He was quite the man, full of stories and tales. He was also a writer, and used to take voice lessons. You found yourself falling for him the entire time you spent together.

~~~~~
It was finally time to head home, and you and Legolas piled into your car, giggling like children.
"Remember that time when you released the arrow and you backhanded me in the face?" Legolas said, chuckling.
"Yeah. You deserved it for poking me with and arrow once!"
"Hey, that was an accident!" He exclaimed.
Legolas drove your car to his house, you and him humming along to the radio the entire time. Finally arriving, you admired the woodsy look of the house - ivy on the log walls, gardens, willow trees, climbing vines. It was beautiful. Legolas knocked on the door, and it creaked open.
"Hello, son. Where have you been?" Legolas's father, whose name, you learned, was Thranduil Greenleaf, looked similar to his son. He had longer white hair, blue eyes, and an angular face. He wore a dark T-shirt and slacks, but was wrapped in a floor length coat. The house was cold - they must not of turned on the heat yet, even though the autumn air was chilly. His eyebrows were what impressesed you the most.
"Hi, dad. This is (y/n), my-"
"Girlfriend?" Mr. Greenleaf cut him off.
"No, archery student," Legolas stuttered, blushing. Thranduil raised an eyebrow.
"Oh. You haven't had a date in years."
"Daad!!"
You giggled. "Well, I should be off. Thanks, Legolas."
"No, please stay," Thranduil said. "Its pretty lonely here."
"Oh?" You replied.
"Besides, I just put the tea on to steep. You're welcome to have some."
You finsihed your tea, announcing that you had to use the restroom.
"Where is your bathroom?"You ask.
"There's one off my room, that's the closest," Legolas offered.
He lead you up the stairs and into his room.  It was small and cozy, with a blue twin bed and anime posters on the wall. His violin sat in the corner, and the wooden floor was covered with pencils and art supplies. "Sorry for the mess. Go right through that door."
You use the restroom and washed your hands, entering Legolas's room again. He was putting away his art supplies. You noticed a sketch sticking out of his folder. You picked it up and gasped.
"Whats this?" You asked, shoving the paper in his face. His cheeks flushed a bright crimson.
"Thats you..a sketch of you. It was just practice, I didn't -"
"Just practice, oh?" You were flattered and flustered at the same time. "Are you sure?"
Legolas crumbled. "Well, (y/n), the truth is...I love you."
